get the reload card lo..i think LYN here got sell..i can get using in-game money also, of coz la, that one is for ppl who have too many in game money...normally u'll need those to gather nice EQ...
i see my friend damn addicted whole day just play, farm, raid...i don really wanna waste time like that...

but i seriously warn u all who have not played WoW not to play it...cos well, the price i mention just now was just basic..there are also expansions(where u'll need to get so that u can go to new maps, have new class, higher max level, new boss to raid) burning crusade, wrath of lich king, and i think just last month they announced another one..
following this game seirously money consuming( no offence to WoW player)

it is the most played online game in the record, and every month blizzard got over TEN millions subscription fee from it....
and the expansion...calculate urself...currently there is more than 12 millions subscribers...
even u want to play,play private serve better...
at least suay suay really addicted...
still no need pay money...

well..that i know, after all, that's why they survive despite the sucky graphics(compared to modern day PC MMORPG)
but i really cannot understand ppl that spent sooooo much money on that specific game..and some even become no life for the game..haizz

actually the graphic is quite nice la...
most importantly, dont you see this is how blizzard attracts ppl?
their games, most of them can running on any normal machine,
WoW can run on my 4 years old acer with ati x1400, intel t2600.
bear in mind, western ppl are not AS computer techy as us, surprise ler~
their still use mediocre device to play game, and what they really spend is on game console!
computer to them is only a work machine.
That's y blizzard de strategy runs so well.
diablo,WoW,warcraft,starcraft....

WoW is really highly addicted, because the interaction between real players are so strong that we can see so many cases when ppl get married(in real life) because of it!! what makes a mmorpg rocks is really how it tied up the players inside and how well the communities run~ WoW is top notch in this rank. Level cap + quests essential playing + instance. it eliminates the normal grinding hell, but sure is addicted as hell~

correction: they eleminates normal grinding for level up, not for item farming...
even LVL80 ppl still raid raid raid and raid

haha...i would never touch MMORPG...normal rpg oso no time to play dy..

totally agree eh...
tat way, they effectively create a economy OUTSIDE the game...

@highwind: these games aint for ppl like us who have a life one la..
ppl playing WoW normally spend hours just playing that 1 game..for me cannot lo, i just play some game, then watch movie..lsat time i spent more then 2 hour playing is FF-X..was pretty hardcore, right now i just play when i am free, almost every night got other things to do/going out with friends...imagine if i had a WoW account, i'd kill myself cos i paid but no time to play...

yup..too many stuffs to do...watch movie at cinema, watch anime, play games, go out yumcha wif frens, stay in d lab due to work (i'm a research graduate student)...pretty much din left much time to game..

Finished my degree in 2008..spent sum time working as research assistant, going off to Aus in March for my PhD...My degree is Biochem..
