S42 still very hot huh?
My brother planning to get Studio 15, after his 3 months laptop fell from the table and lcd crack badly. Ask me to take out the HDD, RAM and optical drive. Studio 15 is my 1st choice of laptop  Luckily after that I found my S42  |

just to update all on my S41 GPU problem....
Sent it over to Benq Sales & Marketing office today in Jaya 1 & was told to sent to their authorized service center in Tropicana ... as my warranty has expired a long long time ago, i surely asked how much would it cost to replace it & was told that it is FOC ... because .. S41 GPU is a common problem which they will replace for free... i confirmed this with the sales & marketing office & also the service center ... so got to leave my lappy for 2 - 3 weeks .. hope the parts arrive faster... |

Well, because the problem lies with nVidia 8M Series GPU, so replacing it will be FOC though your warranty already dead
...got one ex-user here change the GPU 3 times in 1.5 years  ...anyway guys, need some help here...anyone know how much the cost to repair/change the LCD panel for laptop??  ...my friend Toshiba L310 LCD panel just got bricked  ... |
