How about dvico tvix6600? Extra rm400 maybe worth it if its really good..

Wait for new Realtek chipset coming next year!

Otherwise, just get the cheapest Realtek 1073DD now.

I'll stick with Sigma...I've sampled a few movie clips that are difficult to play or error ridden with the ACRyan, Asus, Dvico, Sarotech, WDTV Live (with help from members of course)
Xtreamer not yet test.

Sigma chip just steamrolls over them easily...but I'm not sure of the next gen Realtek.
Realtek is also tiny bit grainy, especially for those older movie clips..this is not evident unless compared to the sigma side by side.
But then the TV sharpness can be adjusted to reduce the slight grain to an extent.

But of course, both chip also got advantages.

how much is the player with realtek chip?? which one better?
