Hello,everyone...
I have got a few questions regarding xbox360...

1.What is the difference between a ban and an unbanned console??
2.If the console is banned,can it be unbanned buy using a new hard disk on it??
3.Is there any way to unbanned a console??
4.Does an unbanned console means it is dead and cannt play
anymore games on it??

A banned console is basically a console that can't play online anymore, which usually comes from modding.
The only way to get around this is to buy a new console.

Is that all??

banned concole can only read the data that has been save on hdd were attach to it during banned..

if u put that hard disc to other console it will show data corrupted

and if u put good hard disc (other hard disc)
it also will corrut the data on that hard disc..

im facing this issue last time..

oh really?? and is it true that i heard if you are ban your gamerscore may be reset to zero?....senang cite u buy one ori game that you think is berbaloi to play live....because i'm thinking of buying MW2 ori to play live...

the save profile will corrupt everytime you restart the console.

Simple....

Support the original, less hassle.

Afterall..the xbox 360 software attachment rate is unbeatable....and what do you think despite suffering from piracy and other issues, it still have such a sucessful software sales?

BTW to those who don't know what is software attach rate is, it's a rating where how many software is sold to per console on average. The higher it is, the better the game sales are on the platform.

Can be played, but save will still corrupted everytime a console restart


you can save a game.
not all files, just game saves & profiles. your game update files remains.
You can't really transfer game save to & from a modded console, you cannot install any game to the console.
Media Center support disabled.

dun wori... playing original game..wont ban ur console...trust me.. My xbox360 didn't even get banned..since i playing ori..game..bebe..gudluck

2. can, but with firmware
3. formatting, 'forced' installation of codec

answer 2 & 3 is wrong. while unbanning a console is possible, it's not thru a HDD but thru a gadgets that you have to connect it on the flash chip. means u have to rip the console open and the device is expensive.

Some ppl reported even original game disc, the console will get banned as they're tracing vital stats of the DVD drive which will be altered once the cracked firmware is in place regardless of you're playing original or not.ange reason

Well, someone claimed his XBOX360 wif Microsoft then get banned afterwards......

My speculation is someone claimed his modded console and someone din do his job well in microsoft which ended up the legit customer is stranded with a banned console.

In US however, someone provide the unbanning Service as banning of console is essentially means installing a banned version of XBOX360 system software

seriously when yr console gets banned its time for you to go original.

if you are working im very sure you could settle with 1-2 new games each month or go for used. there is plenty of good deal in the pasarmalam post.

i know pirate game is cheap, but how much time do you have to finish all of them VS the game you have. no point wasting $ on a machine that only gave you half of the fun. well thats if you love "boot disc"

suffice to say, if you're interested to play Xbox LIVE and no qualm about getting banned from MS, then support the genuinity of the console and games.

Hence, any of y'all bought a 'bootleg' console to play on 8 bucks a piece games, then just forget about having fear on going on LIVE and get a hammer on your unit. Rather than wasting your bucks for another new console in future. 'nuff said =)

easy, means your save will be crippled, while all downloaded content will still be preserved.

Don't tell me you can't differenciate a save and other content....

that means, for example, i play resident evil 5 untill reach mission 3. while in mission 3, i save the game. then, if i off the console. then when i turn on back and wanna continue my mission, i need to play again start from the begining (mission 1) ? omg...

NO dude... u still can load ur save game if u dint touch anything on HDD. Like they said, if ur machine is banned, u cannot transfer anything save game to other console, it will be show as corrupt data.

No, resolution makes minimal impact on xbox360, unlike your PC.

It is recommended but not necessary needed.

Not like that, it'll cripple only if you attempt to swap the HDD to another console.
