Support by how? Hmm...one thing for sure, i am not sony-whore. I do check out their product from time to time but not that, enthusiastic.
My thought on ps3 is...wait till they got the real thing on show floor first. Heck, even the ps3 Assasin Creed is rumoured to be running on a xb360 with sheets covering. The article was later remove from various site (included ign, evilavatar) but no words of it being false claim either, ubisoft refuse to comment on it as well.

Currently they are promising just wayyyyyyy too many stuff that i don't believe will make it to the final product. Like hdd-issues, running linux, internet, download games, unified network etc etc but till now they don't even have the screenshot to show!!!!(and ps3 is due out this november!)
Xbox live took 1 generation to build & enhance, Steam network took few years!!
Even their supposely free 'half'-unified online service wasn't mention in e3, just the word 'basic package' will be free.

Luckily xb360 is run by microsoft, if it's Sega..xb360 is dead by now with E3 2005 hype train.
IMO, the only upperhand Sony have now is their strong exclusive title and their branding (you ask anyone, it's a Sony)

Time exclusive sound more like it, exclusive...EA? Nope...doesn't sound right.


...because nobody bother to create virus for mac? Imagine say...70% of the market with pc, 30% with mac. You are a hacker/programmer...which platform will you choose to develope your virus for maximum damage?
Milk or no milk, mac haven't even come out with a practical, proper spreadsheet software while microsoft has microsoft office and you can't deny how important it is.

No offense to mac user, it's just for humour. Mac does has its up & down, so is a pc


Last i remember is seeing every console gamer in the forum whining about pc being too complicated, and they don't like to upgrade/tweak hardware. Now all of a sudden 360 style....(i mean...360 degree) wana transform a console into a pc? I don't get it.

The thing is...Sony has no plan or whatsoever for the motion sensing.
Everyone can remember clearly in E3 2005...the controller they show is a freakin' boomerang.

E3 2006 which is today, they just announce a controller with motion sensing and just taruk the xb360 guide button in. Last minute add-on....that's like, 0 ethic....simply copy everyone else for the sake of i-can-do-it-too with no efforts at all, not i-can-do-it-better.
...then the Xblive killer, Itunes killer (which fail miserably...3% penetration) & the best....Sony ps3 a pc now?
So many promises....so little stuff to show.

I think the arrogance is simply too much even for ken kutaragi himself....

Well, just buy it...take it easy, play infront of him.
Seriously, xb360 is looking pretty damn sweet now with all the games. The variety is there...or at least 10x better than xbox 1.
The experience is awesome....just get it man. When he sees the xblive marketplace and stuff, he might change his mind

Damn, just when i thought i have seen..next gen on "Lost Planet". Mass Effect just freakin' blow my mind...

That's the fun thing about having friend like that...you just play the game infront of them. They will come to the dark side eventually, it's not like xb360 is an empty shell.
What xb360 has now is the substance, the content, the experience.

Recently i didn't game much due to some personal stuff, and...guess what, most of the game shown on my gamertag history are played by my friend (the so-called pro-sony peepz)

To me...Xbox Live feel more...human, more alive compare to PC online gaming.

Nay..more like banning the whole machine instead of just releasing firmware.

Now microsoft haven't start banning probably they wana keep the increasing numbers of xblive player Didn't ya notice every conference they will go on & on about the number of Xblive subscriber?



For the latest Wii price. Damn, a 'lil bit too expensive than expected.

I think that's a joke from the forumer, about the 'surprise' we can expect from X'06 in Barcelona, spain.

In terms of 3rd party support now, it can be said it's almost equal for ps3 & xb360.
It all boils down to who got the better 1st party games, features & services.

Well if you look at it this way. Date back to Xbox age, how many quality japanese titles are there??

Now xb360...we got Dead Rising, Lost Planet & Blue Dragon. Apart from these, the upcoming JRPG for xb360 are :

-Lost Odyssey, which make it to famitsu mag user most wanted game top 10 (right at no.10 spot )
-Trusty Bell : Eternal Sonata (which got a very positive response during TGS)
-Obsidian RPG Project [untitled]
-Cry On
-Spectral Force 3: Innocent Rage
-Infinite Undiscovery
-Magna Carta 2 (korean developer though)


So, how many JRPG are there for xbox 1? I think the figure is 0. No matter how you see it, xb360 definitely has got a way better japanese support compare to last gen.

Oh, need to mention Resident Evil 5 also on Xbox bandwagon now. Things are looking positive...for now.

For me personally though...i am waiting for Mass Effect, Fable 2, Jade Empire 2, that's my kinda RPG

Kingdoms under fire, too bad they change it from a rpg/strategy to rpg/action. Sadness...but i will still wait for the game.

The PS3's Home

Xbox Live need competition to balance things out (because there are alot of rip-off going on lately), and this Playstation Home might be the big challenger.

It is really really really cool. I just started Second life not long ago & playstation home is like a hybrid of second life with gaming...

WACOM tablet is wacom tablet, wiimote is wiimote.

WACOM tablet are use for drawing but if you use it to play game, you sir...are indeed very the "smart".

The wiimote control is really different.

Maybe you are the one that is anal retentive? Forcing down every possible device on a pc to justify your argument against wiimote.

Playstation eyetoy & xb360 Live Vision camera can sense movement also, but sadly...not everything that can sense movement can be a - Wiimote. At least not the experience...it's so different.

Online game is the future for asia, but so far the console online games isn't that "attractive" to the chinese (china), especially Korea. Japan? Good broadband penetration but not so much of online gaming.
