dunno about that...the transition rate is the same one, but the coating is a bit different. for example Hoya and essilor is a good brand for the coating but the transition rate is still depends on the UV..
For Hoya and essilor got the card. But for the local transition only got the transition card but what matter most that it is still ori and got 1 year warranty for the lens..

Maybe different brand different warranty period ?

I think its more like graphic card thing Nvidia is the GPU but has a lot of brand like asus, sapphire, zotac n etc...Same goes to Ati..
