QUOTE(albnok @ Jan 21 2010, 12:25 AM) LobsterFish: lehtung was using a Raynox close-up filter in front of the lens. yeah i know bro, but the image quality is just so far compared to mine. wingster: Faster shutter speeds won't give you better recycle times. The reverse is true as the flash has to fill more light in. HSS requires more power; the faster the shutter speed, the more power needed. Nashakir: Color is fine, but you could've framed it so that you see a lot of blue, a lot of green and a lot of red. Instead I see a rear view mirror, a black tree and a lamppost. ![]() this is the CLOSEST i can get. |

QUOTE(Uzumaki NaruTo @ Jan 21 2010, 09:34 AM) Did you set the manual focus and move front and back to get the best shot? Should be able to get closer to the subject. Here's mine using 55200 and raynox. But at 200 to get a decent focus of the composite eye is really hard (plus lots of mosquitoes sting your hand since its static) how did u get that close to the fly without it flying away? |
