additional notes : currently feeding on show rabbit feed. maybe changing to FFM pallets (the cost for show rabbit feed is too expensive. i can't afford since i'm a student myself)

Welcome to the thread. You are doing very well. It is perfectly fine to separate intact rabbits to avoid unwanted pregnancies and fights.

I suggest you don't use that brand of feed. It is cheap for a reason. If you don't believe me, I suggest you try tasting them. I have once bitten sand in those cheap feeds.

I suggest if you really cannot afford it, go for Hagen. That's the best you can give to your rabbits on a tight budget.
Hagen? Never heard about it before. Do you have any idea where can I get it around klang area?

Welcome Junid
I'm a student myself with pets..yea money is a issue but i want what's best for them...if u are changing pallets don't get fooled by some labeled 'premium pellets' but contains grains with multiple colours which looks more like hamster food ...

Yea , I saw once last time. With blue packets isn't it? The one with 'kuaci' and some corns inside?
Nah , I fed my bunnies with ffm last 4 months. Changed to Show Rabbit Feed as friend recommended me.
Now have to change again as I'm on a tight budget =/

PLC, Pet Family, ChubbyPetsGarden.com and most pet store carry Hagen pellets.

when i picked up my rabbits , they kicked me =(
maybe the method you said will work , i'll try it later on.

just now i let bobby roam freely around the house with baby. and let blackie play around herself in the playpen. seems that bobby is too 'desperate' to mate with baby. what should i do? let them mate or... haha

hey guys , i don't know how to explain this in english but i have a problem or maybe not a problem to my rabbit.

my rabbit fur starts to 'mengeras' . i don't know how to explain in detail , but my rabbit fur is not as soft as before. can see fur starts to drop hmm.gif

Added on April 9, 2010, 1:08 pmand one more thing , since i've been keeping my bunnies in a separated cage , and they spend most of their time in their own cage , is it risky for me to let them roam freely together inside the house? will they fight especially the males? i'll let it out by genders first, maybe female go out for an hour and then males. to avoid unnecessary pregnancies.

my bunnies age ranged from 7 months to 1 years old.

RIP Bobby 3/3/2009 - 4/5/2009 , gonna miss you cry.gif

just put him in a cage with a mating friends 2 months ago. he seems so happy with his new friend , a female lop. all these while he was alone in his cage, guess its time for him to have a companion.
still don't know the cause of his death. rain heavily just now , i don't think its due to cold. he been living outside of the house for about a year already. cry.gif
