QUOTE(akkihiko @ Jun 20 2010, 11:46 AM) what is the diff between alfafa n timothy hay Nothing is mistaken, you can feed the timothy hay. You can also add alfalfa hay right now, 50/50, your bunny will enjoy it. However, fi your bunny is one month old, he best still is he mom's milk, not any other thing. i mistakenly bought timothy hay for my 1 month old buns |

QUOTE(kubur @ Jun 20 2010, 11:41 PM) Go around to the pet shop that sell small animal products, first thing u must feed your rabbit hay, like timothy hay. Follow by study on the pellet, which one is suit your rabbit. |

I always let go my bunnies play around my house yard from morning till evening except when nobody is home. In evening I will catch or lure them back to cage. But my bunnies dug a burrow hole few months ago, last when I checked, it isn't deep. So I just let them be.
Unexpectedly today 2 little bunnies popped up out of the burrow. I was like WTF! I don't even know one of my bunnies gave birth?. These little ones can even walk around already. Wow I'm quite amazed how these little ones survived even I keep their mom in cage at night. They are probably few or several days old already? Or maybe weeks old? These little ones dont seem to cosume anything else except milk. Hmm... This post has been edited by Vigilant: Jun 22 2010, 08:31 PM |

Refering to my post #970
Any experienced breeder or keeper can advice me? I don't see their moms are feeding them regularly. FYI now I keep them in the same cage with their moms. But I don't see their mom are feeding them much. Most of the time these baby bunnies are forced to feed when their mom is in standing position. Unlike cat mom, the rabbit mom doesn't lay down properly, the down/bottom side of the body of the rabbit mom is not in the correct way for the babies to feed. Any suggestion? After I have reviewed some baby rabbits picture based on their age on the internet, I assume that these littles ones are around 2 weeks old. Leave mommy and babies alone. The mommy knows what to do best. No, rabbits don't nurse like cats.
