Celery, Mustard Green and Parsley can be used.
Cardboard boxes are alright provided there is no printed stuff on it. I do not have newspaper near my rabbits so I do not have to worry about that. QUOTE(zenix @ Oct 30 2010, 05:32 PM) |

It is when you remove the watermark that you offend. Anyone is free to use my pictures but just give due credits and not remove watermark. Of course owner of picture reserve the rights to request users to stop using, which I am not.
Sorry for out of topic. QUOTE(vincentwee @ Oct 31 2010, 07:55 PM) hi sangterap, ok. next time I include it. thought by putting original, might offend. |

Any buck can be a good sire if your intention in just to breed. But the question is, is it a good breeding? I believe it all depends on what is your objective at the end of the day. I admit that am very biased and have more preferences toward purebred as many people know and I do not stop just at purebred, I only feel that working with the best is the only way to go. Why waste time, energy and money in a hobby and settle for mediocrity? That's my opinion anyway.
I do not mean to criticize your rabbit as that is not my intention. I am just sharing my opinion on breeding. Copter is a very nice rabbit in my opinion. I like anything that is rabbit... At the end of the day, you're the owner and no one can stop you from breeding as that is your full rights. Perhaps our views may be different in terms of breeding. I have seen too much exploitation and abandonment so I tend to see things differently. Maybe I am being too anal about it but heck, got to start somewhere I guess.... You won't get exactly the same. No rabbits are exactly the same. It is only our own perception. Something strange but true is that, even if u breed 2 rabbits 2 times, not likely u get the same looking offspring both times. The mixture of the gene is too diverse. too many combinations. that is the reason why most breeders are trying to reproduce their champs from way back but somehow they produce champs that look different.

Yeah, not many breeder is willing to share their best. That is logical. They work hard to get the nice ones, everyone have to put in their own effort. It is good enough for them to share with you their rabbits so that you can work towards getting the good stuff.

On the surface of her tummy? Just one? could be abscess. Else could be her nipple but only 1 is impossible. If u feel it inside her stomach than could be many things. Could be kidney, embryo and etc.

Thanks for the compliments Vincent.
I still don't understand why you fail to look beyond colors. Working on any particular breed, try not to look at color first. Look at the Standard first. Color is really something secondary. Have you ever notice that really nice rabbits most of the time have certain colors? Meaning to say, the more you see a particular color, the chances are those rabbits are much nicer. I hope I am making sense. No offence to pet rabbit owners though. We are always splited between: 1) I don't care color and look, I love rabbits 2) I love that color 3) I love HIGH QUALITY/STANDARD rabbits adhering to standard set regardless of color 4) I wish I can have that type of rabbit in green, blue and red regardless of QUALITY To answer your question, I am bad in doing business so I don't create "RARE" colors so that I can price them super high. What's the point? In the process of producing those RARE ones, many more may be abandoned out there. POINTLESS... I am no scientist. Just love the breed and being their slave... QUOTE(vincentwee @ Dec 1 2010, 08:13 AM) Sangterap, I think in our Malaysia, there is no market/stock for pure white HL. Do you plan to create this type of breed? To me, u are a scientist (Holland Lop , keke) |

I believe that all the vets information has been listed. Those listed are information either given to me by those who have good experiences working with the vets or I personally have experience working with and found them good.
QUOTE(zenix @ Dec 5 2010, 03:42 AM) perhaps the good vets we have talked about can be put into a list onto the first page of every version of the thread? Start getting those Elves filling up Santa's bag man....LOL! QUOTE(Puremate @ Dec 5 2010, 10:44 PM) |
