my bunny lips got wound with blood. i put bunny powder/bedak on its lips few times. any other way to heal her wounds (cheap method)? now she with Milo. can she infected virus to him?
she got it when eat those raw plants at my backyard.thought she can help me clean it by eating all of it. i stop put her at backyard since this incident.
When there is a wound or cut on bunny's skin or any part of them, it will lead to skin cysts or abscess. The only way to prevent it is to wash the wound with saline water, put some surgical iodine (not normal iodine) to disinfected it and put some antibiotic creme/lotion to prevent abscess. But since the cut/wound is at the lips, normally the vet will prescribe some antibiotic syrup and anti-inflamation syrup. Other than fasten the healing process, it prevent any infection that cause abscess. she got it when eat those raw plants at my backyard.thought she can help me clean it by eating all of it. i stop put her at backyard since this incident.
