so i'm planning to buy an LCD TV ,but i dunno which brand or model to go with...could all u sifus and experts give me some recommendation

preferably would want a HD ready TV only as i only play games and wont watch much blu ray movies..

UPDATE : A big thanks to all who had posted here and gave me suggestion, i've already bought the 32" Sony V series , the PQ is just superb even when watching SD astro ! i highly recommend this model if u want a full HD 32" tv...

and btw if anyone wanna buy this model it's available at Best Denki Mid Valley for only RM2250+rm100 reabate so the final price would be rm2150
i bought it there myself...check it out..

Yes PQ is better than sony. Get the one with 100hz. The price is about 3.5k last time but it can be cheaper now especially got offer.

Not to mention that it also support dolby downmix.

The model is LA32B650

S series is crap. But it has a good sound quality. The bravia engine is not worth having.

yah thats what people been saying ; the 40" s series is good , but anything below that sucks but the 40" s series is too expensive for me..

well actually, any tv is nice for gaming. Xbox & PS3 will be fine on any lcdtv, especially on 32". just pick one, but defenetely not cheapestin its class. problem will only arise when u use it for astro (non HD). for this, only plasma tv can compensate for the poor quality. but plasma cant last long.
a good mix will be FullHD 40-60" + astroHD.
otherwise, FullHD 32"+ astro. then u'll be satisfied.

u wont regret it...trust me, treat please go to any shop and look at the picture quality urself.
then u know im not lying.

to top that, the tv got 100Hz, can manually adjust summore, got internet tv. and like so many tweak u can do...to adjust the picture
got usb can play all type of movie files, even mkv!!! can read subtitle srt..damn, it is so nice

is there a samsung model similar to this but with no Internet@TV feature ?

Yes I have to agree Samsung Series 6 does have better PQ than the Sony S and V series - although I am a 40" V series owner

But I think if TS is looking at Sony 32 S Series, his budget should be about RM1900 - RM2000. The 6 series and V series (i think) is out of budget. In that price range I would think that Bravia S series is the better one compared to the Sammy 3 series.... I think the new Bravia S 32" it has got built in FM? If TS using it mainly for PS3 gaming I think it will do just fine.

but i believed if you want to get the best picture so far in price range of below RM3K, please get the samsung lcd 6 series.
yeah i know u can get 42 inch plasma at a much cheap price, but please trust me. not in any second of my life i regret of getting this samsung 6 series!!
the picture simply beats the said sony and whatever other damn branded tv....dont believe me? like i said, go see it first for urself..the picture is

like u r watching spanish studio drama, seems to clear to be truth..but some people like it, some does not..but what i want to stress out here is

samsung 100Hz technology produce the best plasticky fake picture compare to other like Sony motion flow 100Hz..
