it's better to buy for the retail KIS for one user to avoid any problem in the future since if you are sharing with unknown strangers, nobody will know what will happen within one year time.

Foregt about Kaspersky. Avira Permium security suite works better. The single license sold for RM 55.
If you still want to buy Kaspersky Internet Security, it's slightly pricier, RM70 for single license. Those prices only valid in Lowyat Plaza though |

My KIS only runs for 2,223 K of memory XD..... so I still think KIS is the best. However, at some point, their real time file checking is really slow....

go avast 5? haha heard it quite nice, but the sandbox feature not really good enough and still need to improve more. Norton i personally tried it and it quite eat resource. although compare last time it may taking less resource but i still can feel d slowness due to d norton after i installed it compare to nod 32 and microsoft secruity essential.

im using windws 7 x64...and i have recenlty installed KAV2010...previosuly i was using bitdefender on windows vista x64...it was ok but the services frequently failed due to some software incompatability...but i was always attacked by virus from thumb drives...bitdefender was never good againts trojans n worms...so i switched to KAV2010 wen i installed my new OS...i feel kaspersky is very good n much better compared to bitdefender...its consumes very little resources and effectively detects threats...i think if you are just a simple user u shud go for the KAV2010...no need to waste cash on KIV...i bought my single user licence from lowyat at RM45...still available...look into tradezone to look for da shop name n location...i lupa edi...

do not buy key only from internet, especially from seller who do not able to provide some kind of prove - receipt or picture of key key.
i recon to buy directly from retail store. i know it kinda expensive rather than buying key only but for a year duration, not for each month you have to you it. |

I have a problem with KIS 2010. For some reason, when I enable protection, and go to browser, I cant seem to go online, it just shows up a blank screen. But, If i disable protection, I'm surfing away like nothings wrong. Whats the point of internet security if I have to diable it everytime I go online. Can anyone help me out here?

For God's sake... get a proper antivirus... due to the fact u see Jackie Chan posters hanging around everywhere with his kungfu outfit, u expect ur pc to be really protected by viruses?... C'mon..
Kaspersky marketting is strong but not it's antivirus.. I've been using PC for more than 20 yrs and I've even have the chance to use antivirus solutions which was made in Msia itself. Vbuster and Armor Antivirus by Extol. Armor was one of the best antivirus of it's time even beating Norton and a few bunch more surprisingly. I've moved from Mcafee, Norton, Symantec, Kaspersky and countless others.. and so far I've found the most reliable antivirus balancing speed, stability, resource consumption and efficiency is NOD32. Do give it a try and let me know. But after so many years into computing, I've found the best method is creating a efficient recovery method. If at any one time I found that my computer isint performing up to it's usual, or got infected by some virus, I just hit the F10 and it ghosts the whole machine by itself in under 10mins and your computer is up and running like new in just that time. Once a while just update the ghost image once you've restored a fresh copy by doing the necessarily windowsupdate etc. |
