What is Plasmacluster and Why?
Plasmacluster Ion technology is a registered technology by Sharp, which was developed in 2000. It is the genuine and the only air purification system that releases positive and negative ions into the air to remove harmful airborne substances. As Its a registered technology, other air conditioner manufacturers only can 'copy' it and produce so-called Ionizer which only releases negative ions. Plasmacluster Ions can suppress the activity of a total of 26 kinds of bacteria, mold fungi, viruses and allergens floating in the air, also cigarette odors on curtains and sofas, and sweaty odors on clothing.

Just installed sharp 2hp Plasmacluster inverter from Mr. Lai, great guy and his installer is professional too. My personal preference is towards sharp over panasonic ionizer, I can feel my living room filled with much cleaner/fresher air than my bedroom. Cheers!
