m controller turns itself off whenever i touched the battery pack a lil too hard? what's the prob? should i return the controller to the shop?

I just used masking tape on the side , it doesn't look like it fixes the problem , but believe me it has helped me alot .

yea.not 100% gonna work.still the controller will disconnect but not many times.

hurm.i wonder why microsoft still doesn't fix their controller .

The wireless controller will always have an issue with the battery pack. No matter how brand new the controller is, the battery pack will become somewhat 'loose' at one point sooner or later.

My solution to this problem is to use a fat pair of AA batteries like the Duracells for example. The energizer is the best choice of batteries for the controller, but they're a bit smaller in comparison.

Or you may as well get a wired controller if you find it frustrating to deal with the retarded battery pack.

I feel you guys...my controller suffer from this problem as well...what you want to do is to try to tighten d battery pack.

my DIY solution is to yank out one of the springs in the controller from its socket. I'd show you a picture but you should be able to figure it out. and don't worry about the spring coil....its quite sturdy.

it's the best solution i have so far...

yea duracell battery is the best solution or go for rechargable branded battery.
