Mine ori set is 3 pin as well... more convenient.

After so many phones I used (all were just 3 months the max), I finally saved my contacts into the phone's memory (previously all saved in SIM card only)...

Oh...anyway, this thread grows fast because of your hard work! rclxms.gif

By the way, today I noticed a dead pixel on my screen. Its to the left edge. Near to the calendar entries there. Since it is on the edge so it does not affect any graphics. May be will go and change before the warranty due.

Here you go ...
N86 dead pixel

Taken by 6220C, kept in 5 MP size so that can zoom in for details.

I am reading from the Warranty card, it says:

The different warranty periods are:

a) 12 months for the mobile device and accessories
b) 6 months for batteries, chargers, headsets, cables and covers
c) 90 days for the media, such as CD-rom, memory card.

So I assume the "mobile device" is the whole thing, including the LCD...

IMAP is to store your e-mail messages on your web based e-mail account and also into your hand phone.

If you use POP, then all your e-mail messages will be downloaded into your hand phone, leaving no copies in your web based email.

The sentence "If you use POP email, which you shouldn’t since there is IMAP,..." means that, you should use IMAP, instead of POP.

Whats the problem? cant use? I installed but keep contact not supported crap appear..
*
Erm, just a matter of preference, I prefer the normal way of viewing messages. It installs flawlessly into my phone.

However, once in a while, the error "message editor is in used" will appear if the Conversation editor is active and at the same time we are using the normal Inbox message editor.

May be you could try :

1) Restart your phone
2) Don't open any programs
3) Straightaway install Conversation.

I don't have my phone with me right now (In service centre). BingYao are you using indigo black?

I went to two places... the first one was 1 Utama Nokia Care centre. Saw a dummy phone there, N86, white, the D-pad was nice and there was no big gap.

Went to low yat, another nokia demo centre, saw indigo black, and it has the same exact problem.

Mine is White Ori set. From the side, looking horizontally, I could see what you mentioned.

Yup. Mine is square lens. I will double check again with others. If this is true, then I will ask for a change.

Not to make a big fuss of the round / square lens but people who have reported gaps in the dpad is round or square? Maybe can analyse whether is it influenced by the phone batch..

if not mistaken sjn is round. skyer?
