I like the breathing light. I think, it's actually to show you where you put your HP in the night... No need to meraba buta

But I also switch it off because I using a pouch and afraid the light life will shorten...Blinking non stop...

I'm thinking of getting a N86. I tried the phone and when i open, scroll the Image menu. It seems to be lagging and the transition is not smooth.
Does it happened to you guys? Is it a firmware or hardware issue?

Also, how's the Garmin has been performing? Is the signal good? Does it hang/lag during recalculation, signal always drop or any issues on it?

both~ i manage to changed my old N73ME by changing the product code (the region product code with Eng & Chinese) with NSS and update to latest firmware from Nokia Software Updater~ So i am wondering what is the proper product code for N86 that supports English and Chinese? Thx.

You asked at the right time. Yesterday my friend was using his 5800XM for GPS and the route recalculating time takes longer than my N86.

I do not find the menu is lagging. May be it's my firmware is V11. I do not know the menu performance for V20.

i just got my phone a few weeks ago and so far no problem my phone. I'm using a white Avaxx set v20.
bare in mind its better u put your files into your microSD rather than your 8GB mass storage.

as for image, yes a slight lag and takes a bit of time for your pictures to be clear when u opened it.

As for garmin, its good. very good

My phone starts to lag when I have 400+ images in mass storage lol not a big deal.. And for you guys who dont use a pouch or anything.. Do you notice scratches at the chrome part of the camera?

Yeah...very fine lines of scratches...But I still prefer it to be pose "nakedly" than wearing a "cloth"

You get from dealers will be cheaper. Nokia sells them at retail price which is usually higher.. N-gage games have to pay but if you hack your phone then different story.. To check firmware type *0000# but I suggest you check the type of lens cover instead, go for square one.

okay~ after i changed the product code and update the firmware to latest v20~ iszit normal that in Writing a new SMS screen, there is an empty column in the menu to change writing language after u press the * key?
