Hi all, I would like to introduce the smart swtich system for your house lightings control. Allow me to briefly explain how our products work for you. You may visit our website to take a look at how the products look like. www.newict.com

Smart Switch - This switch panel when replacing your existing conventional panel, besides pressing on/off manually you may use remote control to turn on/off. You may also set 24hrs timer for every button on the switch panel.

Pocket Remote - This pocket-size remote control is for you to carry in your car. Upon reaching your house, you may using this unit to open your autogate as well as switch on the lights for your car porch and living hall lights. Radio frequenct signal by 100 feets.

Infrared Remote Control - This unit is suitable for indoor use as it communicate via infrared signal by 10 feets. You may do timer setting using this remote control.

Security Interface Unit (SIU) - This unit is required for intergration of our smart switch with your home alarm system. Whenever your alarm trigger, this unit will send signal to all the switches to turn on the lights. However, this unit is optional.

USB Antenna with software - This unit allows your to control your home lighting when you are oversea or at work. With the condition of having a computer on at home with internet access, attach this unit to the USB port, you may log in to your house to control your lighting on/off with another computer/notebook that have our software pre-installed. This unit also allows you to do extra setting like unable the buttons on the switch panel (the buttons will not function when press manually). This setting is good for house with maid to prevent maid from inviting unwanted personnel to enter your house when everyone is sleeping or away from house. However, this unit is optional.

Very important, this system does not only provide you the convenient but also a peace of mind whenever you are away from home. Eg. Play with the timer setting and let your house lightings go on/off, making it like somebody is in the house. Besides that, the system is designed to serve the safety purpose as when you are arriving your house, it allows you to switch on the lightings upon reaching. These features are meant to warn the unwanted personnel. We are talking about safety come first then convenient later thumbup.gif

It depends...

A real example: The lastest customer, an existing staying double storey house, we proposed RM4k for the whole system.

Features:
- Remote control lightings for main areas (car porch, living hall, dining area, kitchen, 1st floor family hall and garden lights)
- Timer setting for all Senzo lighting points (Built-in)
- Remote control his autogate (Refer to the above Pocket Remote - get rid of carrying too many remote controls)
- Integration with existing home alarm system (Refer to the above SIU)
- Control his house lightings through the internet while he is away from home. (Refer to the above USB Antenna)

Installation is included in this package. Minor hacking done and nicely concealed, customer is satisfied with the work. After 2 weeks, he just called up yesterday to upgrade the system for extra lightings controls biggrin.gif

We have done for customers who used Iphone & HTC TitanII, it works well. thumbup.gif

Our technician will have to test on your devices to confirm.

*Note: to remote access through ur PPC / PC, you will need to attach the USB Antenna to a PC (must be on) with internet access at home

Yes, the support for Iphone is through web interface nod.gif

You will need a SIU to integrate with your alarm system. Whenever your alarm trigger, this unit will send signal to all the switches to turn on the lights. You may select for how long you want the lights to stay on (10mins, 20mins, 30mins) after you disarm your security alarm. Eg. 10mins, then all the lights will back to previous status. This is very useful especially at night when nobody at home. thumbup.gif

Good to hear that your house will complete soon! Check your PM for my proposal smile.gif

Sorry to say we do not have regular switch with similar finishing design it is because we are not a designer switch but a smart switch smile.gif

But I can suggest you to do something like my customers did..

There is some hacking involved as the switch is deeper. Unless Senzo had a new version switch that is as thick as normal switch.

Yes, there will be minor hacking to make sure your current switch point depth is at least 2.5" to 3" (inches) into the wall. No major hacking unless you wanted to have additional new switch point. smile.gif

How much is one smart switch with installation (replace normal switch)? My existing normal pad has 3 or 4 switches. Does smart switch support?

Actually, whats so good bout home smart? It jes for lamp only. Yes, u can set timer, on the lamp before u come back etc. A simple timer can do this also wat. So why need home smart? I can set timer to on the lamp by using a timer switch which cost less than RM50. A timer suiz can do wonders too like setting 7pm to on the lamp when u r at oversea etc..

So bro, can u convince me home smart is good?

Hi Adrian,

I've read about this switch somewhere, its called Deng Kai switch. I will not say it is smart switch or not... Because currently there is no fix answer of how smart is smart? It is all depend on the user's lifestyle i would say..

1) If you are a person whose life is very basic then a remote + timer will be smart enough for you.

2) If you are a person whose life is very complicated.. (hi-tech laugh.gif ) then remote + timer may be not enough and you would like control your lightings over your most powerful laptop or your canggih I-phone.. Then you call it smart.

3) Where else, there are some people whose life lagi complicated.. They requested face recognition, voice recognition, everything automated.. Of coz, that one lagi smart la! Lagi smart lagi mahai.. thumbup.gif

Senzo Smart Switch is cater for No. 1 & No. 2, we let our users to experience the technology of smart home at the most affordable price.

Please compare the DK switch & Senzo switch, there are differences smile.gif

I need timer and remote control for HT down light so Senzo fit my needs. Ask yourself, why you need a smart switch. What's the function you need. Other type of consideration is X10 Smart Switch. You also need to understand what's the distance you can control the switch. Senzo is using RF and IR so had the advantage of RF distance and no line of sight + IR for universal remote. X10 is using RF and your wiring to communicate with each other switch. If you want to control X10 through universal remote, you need to add-on another device that can convert IR to X10 comm. If those china brand is using IR only, then you can't control your upstair switch due to line of sight issue.

If we talk about smart home, we are talking about the concept, the system..

For me, my family is the most important belong to me. Therefore, my house must be able to protect this most valuable thing of mine! Timers is not enough..

Very simple example, a complete Senzo Smart Switch system allows you to control your lightings with remote control / laptop, able to integrate with your home alarm system. These 2 features is very important to my house because whenever i reach home outside my gate i able to turn on lights in my house + surrounding garden lights with one single button. Besides that, if you hear some noise in the middle of the night DO NOT GO OUT FROM YOUR ROOM immediately! Press the button to turn on all lights in your house before you go for a check. I think no one will stay around your house for long.. The integration with home alarm system, it simply turn on your lights whenever your alarm trigger.. At least it brighten my house (to show the burglar way out laugh.gif )

I dont know about you but last time i used a timer from giant. The setting will run whenever there is power failure.. For senzo, nothing to worry about because it has a back up battery smile.gif

We are promoting the concept of living with peace of mind and promoting the lifestyle of living smart & safe !

Hi there,

I do not understand your switch with remote dimmer? If you are talking about to control your dimmer with remote and set timer then YES. We do have dimmer switch. You may check in the catalog, you will see there is a button with arrow up (^) and arrow down (v). That is to control the dim level. Check your PM smile.gif
