Good price. IIRC, no tax on projectors right?
Is it also 230V compatible?
No tax and it is dual voltage 110v to 240v. Just put my order in for W6000. Been considering between AE4000 and W6000 and decided to go for W6000 due to the extra brightness and the latest firmware had solve the iris issue. I'm a DLP guy. I still feel LCD and LCOS picture a bit soft compare to DLP. I believe local AE4000 is not going to be cheap and follow UK pricing which is around RM 11k.

if getting projector from US anyway (2+k range)... maybe you can consider these contenders
AE-4000
sony HW15
epson 8500

and more poison here....
http://www.projectorreviews.com/panasonic/...e4000/index.phphttp://www.projectorreviews.com/projectors...s_PT-AE4000.phpI feel projector central review a bit bias. I would trust projectorreviews by Art. He even answer my question when compare W6000 to HD82 based purely on picture quality, he advised to pick W6000.
It all depends on your preferences. If you are black level fanatic, then go for AE4000 or even better RS20 or RS25. I wouldn't recommend RS10 or RS15 due to the color gamut issue which is over BT 709 and can't be tuned due to lack of CMS. If you like very sharp image with good 3d pop, then go for DLP projector.
Here's the review with comparison to other projector within the price range. W6000 initial street price is around USD 2.7k (3 months ago).
