Samsung Series 5 530 37inch (LA37B530P7R), Need advice on Samsung LCD

I am searching for a new LCD TV for my new house, target to be below 40 inch.
I came across this model of Samsung Series 5 530 37inch (LA37B530P7R), Full HD, got an offer price of RM2600 (RCP: RM3788). The other options are Sony and Panasonic.
I came across some comment in the US that Samsung recently is facing some "on and off" problem due to the capasitor when the TV aged approx 2 years. Any of the Samsung LCD TV user experience this in Malaysia? Please advice.
Samsung (Full HD) Vs Panasonic (HD) Vs Sony (HD)... with approximate price, which to choose?
Really appreciate your advice and view for reference.

I had a 37" Samsung LCD. Been using it for a little more than 2 years. No problem so far.

do a better search in this forum and you can know that RM2700 gets you a 40B530.
