Hey guys,i just joined my GYM in Celebrity Fitness,Wangsa Walk about 3 weeks back..The reason i joined the gym is actually to lose weight + gain muscle AND lose my damn 'Man Boobs'

Im 16 years old with height of 5'7 and weighs 95KG...Yes i know what u guys thinking bout now..lol

I just wanna ask u guys,will work out(carrying weights) lose my man boobs?

What should i need to do in gym to lose this man boobs?

Im dead serious here in losing my man boobs

quite weird...some guys who are lighter than me like u..have bigger boob than me LOl...im 186cm with 10x kg atm..working out in gym .pushing my muscle out ..mine isnt realy big ...just can see abit pointy lol

lol..But mine is damn pointy(sharp long wan)..lol...Gosh when i touch my breast,it feels like all the fats that im eating are ending up there..LOL blush.gif ...Any ideas how to reduce it?

got drop down? like dragged down? what i suggest you is..do some chest gym exercise.

its simple

take two dumbells and lie down , then try to spread ur arms to 180 degrees and try to push it up using ur chest power..

there are plenty ways to develop muscle for ur chest..google for ur best answer

those man bewbs u're referring to is actually caused by the layer of fat. to lose it, basically u gotta lose the fat.
how to lose the fat? disciplined mind set + strict diet + weight training + cardio.


here's something u should know before u try to lose weight:
1. spot reduction is a myth. working the chest muscle does not equal burning the fat around that area. ur body burns fat from wherever it deems easiest. so forget about just doing chest exercises thinking it will melt away the fat around ur chest. u gotta work out ur whole body to get ur metabolic rate up and burn fat all over ur body.

2. u cant transform fat into muscle. fat is fat, muscle is muscle. working out ur chest muscles wont magically make the fat around ur chest transform into muscle. its like water and oil. if u keep stirring a cup of oil will it magically turn into water? no biggrin.gif
as u train, u burn fat, ur layer of fat reduces and ur muscles get bigger. this gives the illusion that u can transform fat to muscle blink.gif


yes, working out (weight training) will help u get rid of ur man bewbs because u'll be burning fat.
wat u should do in the gym is perform compound exercises and train ur whole body (dont ignore ur lower body!).
try reading up on weight training articles,i'm sure the stickies have links to loads of useful info. thumbup.gif

make sure u're mentally prepared to lose the fat. u may say u're dead serious now but after 2 weeks of training and strict diet u might give up. so its best to make a goal and be dedicated biggrin.gif
dont expect quick results, its gonna take time and patience to lose the fat.

hey thanks for the fast reply..Actually u've got me,i usually ignore my lower body,most of the time ill be concentrating of my upper body lol(thats like my first priority lol)..Ill tryout some lower body training in gym tomoro..

Is push-up good for the chest?

i used to have major man boobs to, just keep working out doing cardio and weights, dont ignore cardio!!!! and stick to a proper clean diet below maintenance and you'd see results, believe me man, used to be in your position as well, a lot better now, still working on it tho.

the feeling you get when you stop having to buy XL and can buy M from any shop, priceless. 8D

You gotta lose fat from your whole body. If spot reduction is true, i would have a six-pack already sad.gif

But dont neglect your weight training, because you need to have some muscles to get that chest you want!

Please do note that theres two type of "man-boobs"

Gynecomastia - Cause by hormonal imbalance. If you have this, no cardio training is gonna lose that boobs of yours, you just have to wait until it correct itself.

Pseudogynecomastia - Cause by layers of fat. For this, just do regular cardio for lose the fat, and if you want a muscular chest, add in weight training.

Cause i still remember since i was small(in primary school),i was having this man boobs until now...

Whats wrong with wearing XL?...I wear XL and they fit me just fine. I don't have man boobs. L would be tight tho. icon_rolleyes.gif

By exercise To reduce or eliminate man boob you need to do alot of cardio to reduce the fat. Then alternately buil your chest muscle with weight training. Your chest muscle is to fill the loose skin hopefully.

i've read this below tips somewhere but forgot where I read.

By dieting. Eat more fibre drink more water. Eat more zinc. and eat cleanly. No more trans fat and junk food. This is the hardest part to do.

honestly bro..cardio..i've been there..if good willing..u keep ur food intake as clean as possible, u'll do a lot of progress..ouh, try and find out out at utube what others ways which u can elimante man boobs..they might provide u info such as diets and stuffs..most of us ere aren't specialist, but hey, we can share our experience and u can try on em..smile.gif..
