Hold on to your LCD/Plasma/Projector/Blu-ray player upgrade till next year for 3D Good for those of us who bought the PS3 as it seems that it will get firmware upgrade to support the Blu-ray 3DTM. Can you imagine watching 3D in full 1080p at home? No more red/cyan glasses but with newer technology, including polarized or active shutter glasses? But it also means Do you think Astro B.yond will be ready to broadcast WorldCup 2010 in 3D since it is set to be shot in 3D?? If yes, I bet we will see many upgrading their TVs again.. It's official: 3D for Blu-rayBlu-ray Disc 3D Spec Finalized

Whereas 3D is a spec of the newer HDMI v1.4 standard which was only ratified recently..... don't think many equipment is out with it yet.... dunno if they can still transmit without 1.4 though..... 3D HD through Astro HD? Very unlikely due to insufficient bandwidth. Cant wait for the 3D feature on PS3 though.
