Hi guys,i juz notice this thread.
I found 1 Mantis 2 weeks ago when im having breakfast at Mamak. So i catch it n raised it. Last week she incredibly make an egg case n lay eggs. Dunno when will the egg hatch. Btw,can any1 identify my Mantis type? Attached thumbnail(s)

The ootheca might b infertile.
But i took the pix right after she's done. Now after 1 week+ it looks like brown colour. Btw how do u tell the fertility of the egg? Really wanna learn. TQ |

Ohh,i c..
Btw the rear left leg (2nd pix) of my mantis always stay up like tat. B4 it wont but dunno since when it started like tat.. It didnt use the leg at all. |

My Mantis 2nd Ootheca.
Around how many Oothecas they can lay b4 they die??? Btw my Mantis look like goin to die soon coz it looks so tired n lazy to move. Attached thumbnail(s)

A few months bac,my colleague found 1 Mantis lay Ootheca on a door.
N it hatched on 21days later. Now i noe why the call this species Ant Mantis....  Look at those cute little nymph,they got hand(wat u call them).... Attached thumbnail(s)
