I had this too, cut into different lenghts which is being fitted with banana plugs. In total about 50m in length. Used it during my SVS event. Anyway, it is quite a good cable for bass although it sounds a bit bright. Highly recommended for its price.

Yeah.... but as I mentioned at this price point, hard to beat.

I might be getting another new set of cables for my MTS-01 to replace the budget CableTalk 3.1

About 5 years ago, when I setup my car audio, I used all Belden speaker cable. Got it for only RM4.50/meter at Kampung Bangali Prai, Penang. I took it out from my car when I stop playing car audio and some still used in my home audio/recording. Went there to recently and the shop SJ Audio at kampung bangali do not sell this cable anymore... sucks! I know that shop sell the cheapest.

Recently when I bought my hifi, I get a bundle of RM8/meter and the shop is actually selling RM12/meter. Well, thats the bundle. But when I plan to reno my house and get the cable concealed, I went to the same hifi shop and bougght even mnore and I got the same priced. RM8/meter. maybe I'm a loyal customer kuah... ha ha ha ha

I bought around 23meters.... just for my rear surround speakers.

Anyway, this cable is a really good. I remember when I switched from normal to Belden for my car audio. The improvement in my case was very significant.

Is opposite mayfong. The shop run a PA system setup renting etc. The name of the shop is SJ Audio. Last month I check with them, they dont sell it anymore. But you can ask if they willing to order and sell you in big quantity.

Honestly, I forgetten the model. I need to go home and check. But is the own twisted black and white inside.

I'll reconfirm for you when I got home...

Added on December 23, 2009, 10:27 amjust check.. the belden cable I got was 8471...

This is a very good quality cable for the given price. Not to mention the size is 12awg which is good for almost all applications and also for longer run. My original idea is to use this for my surround but because the size is quite thick I settled for QED Original instead.

Hi Arremie,
What model QED are you using? Interested in the price and where to buy, just in case the bulk does not go, I can get it for my friend.
Yes they are quite thick, as are other 12AWG and black, but managed to put in white PVC electrical casing. I am using 1311a for my HT 5.1, sounds good to me, but I don't have anything else to compare to, except the RM5/m "OFC" shinny cables used previously, which turned green after a few months.

Thanks.
