After reading all the advice in this forum, i have decided to buy myself a wii for Xmas brows.gif i got a few questions and i do hope you guys can advice me on it

1) as i am buying my console from the states, do i need a converter as i understand the voltage is different in both countries

2) is it cheaper buying the games from the states? how much is it in KL?

3) i am planning to get the standard package and i am going to add motion plus(usd 19), nunchuck (usd 19) and wii wheel( usd 10), do i need anything else?

As for the games, i am planning to get just these few first;

Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board( USD 89)
EA Sports Active
Avatar
New Super Mario Bros
Resident Evil
Marines: modern urban combat

Thanks guys

Thanks for the reply... as the standard package comes with only one nunchuck and one wiimote, which will only allow for one player, do i need to buy both the wiimote & nunchuck for another player to join or just the wiimote?

I do believe US Wii comes with Wii Sports, and a Wiimote is sufficient for most games unless a nunchuck is required

1. yes and no. Yes u need a voltage converter. but better, just by a china made wii power adapter. will cost u about 40rm. is cheaper then a voltage converter. I have a direct from us wii too.
2. cheaper from the states! don't ever get from kl if u have a choice
3. up to u. base on personal preference.

But he is right. Games are cheaper at the states, but if you look at the right places, you may find some diamonds in the rough. good luck!
