I know the BlueAngel is cheaper than A.C Ryan and both are actually doing the same thing but how about their support in terms of warranty, firmware upgrade, etc??

BlueAngel superhero is like Hancook, ACRyan is like Batman...haha.. laugh.gif

Batman can afford to burn down his own castle and rebuilt another bigger one with more toys and chicks to play with.

I would go for the most value for money stuff, and can last 2 years. Bear in mind, the technology for the media player stuff and advancing very fast, which mean the sets gets superseded fast. No point spending so much on these consumables goods. We have seen how the old chipset with upgraded firmware also can't match new chipset that's being release with newer features.

Today found out there are a lot more varieties in brand. I saw one brand called Hornettek it's cheap RM499 with free wireless dongle! and also some other brands like VBridge, Realbox, Dlink and X-5 (which is very similar to A.C. Ryan selling for RM599) but not sure which chipset they are using.

you can insert a 2.5" sata hdd inside the blueangel H10R, or you can just plug in your USB thumbdrive/hdd.

AC Ryan can put 3.5 inch HDD. BlueAngel H10R only 2.5 inch.
AC Ryan bigger. BlueAngel H10R smaller.
AC Ryan plastic casing (not sure). BlueAngel H10R aluminium.
AC Ryan got optical and coaxial SPDIF output. BlueAngel H10R coaxial only.
AC Ryan got component video out. BlueAngel H10R got composite video only.
AC Ryan does not come with wifi dongle. BlueAngel H10R works with Realtek dongle.
AC Ryan more expensive. BlueAngel H10R cheaper.
AC Ryan dont have PPS channel (I think). BlueAngel H10R has (but now got problem... hope will be fixed soon).
AC Ryan got local distributor who provide warranty. BlueAngel H10R is imported by Yangxi, he provide his personal warranty.
AC Ryan got English manual. BlueAngel H10R chinese only (the English translated one by Yangxi not very good leh...)

Other than that, I think the rest are the same...
