We build muscle, not lose it.

How can you build thigh muscles without being aware of it?
If they keep growing without you working out, then it's fat. Edit: A good way of slimming down that "muscular" thigh is running or jogging. Simply do a 30 minutes session on the treadmill for 3-4 days every week. This post has been edited by Magick Cauldron: Dec 18 2009, 11:30 PM |

QUOTE(yeah_guyz @ Dec 18 2009, 10:38 PM) Wrong SECTION!! you're being really sarcastic. why dont you dont post anything if its not even going to help? let the admins decide if it is the wrong section. Lowyat.NET -> Roundtable Discussions -> Health & Fitness -> Bodybuilding & Strength Training Please go to find the thread below Lowyat.NET -> Roundtable Discussions -> Health & Fitness -> I want to be skinny first, i too am one who have this same problem. i have muscular thighs and i wanted to lose it. i used to be a track sprinter during my schooling days. so naturally i had big thighs. and if you ask me, its harder to lose muscle healthily than to gain them. so please give this thread some respect. i did my own research. google doesnt really come up with much results. some told me to totally stop all leg activities and naturally muscle will breakdown if its not used. sounds plausible. my arms grew smaller during exam days. but it did not work. i found normal everyday walking was enough to keep the muscle there (and more fat during exams.. haha!) so yes. low intensity training does help. but i doubt it does much to reduce thigh muscle, but rather burn the remaining fat and maybe tone the muscle up (and makes it look smaller) i've since gone long distance (completed my marathon last year) and i am also an avid road cyclist. (normal routine - putrajaya 40km, or weekend rides of 160km) seems to work for me having smaller thighs than before. but within 2-3 weeks of not exercising, it'd prolly come back, unless you are careful with your diet |
