@epalbee3, It's a good habit; like i said the rule is to make sure you have enough cash to purchase whatever you want before swiping that CC.
I've lived by that rule my entire life and thus far have no issues with paying up my CC bills.
@rockefeller, So how many miles do I need wor?! I'm not too familiar with all these airline miles - I ain't as widely travelled as U people. Gee.... and I just used up like 625,000 MR points on the Tag Heuer - should have kept the points for this option! *siGh*

QUOTE(rockefeller @ Jan 16 2010, 12:21 PM) tgeoklin, you cancelled it? i was told very few people in the country has this card. even those with personal FD at cimb of RM 5m gets turned down by the management when they requested for it! you assets with must be running in the eight figures then! Actually its just not enough that you have $ with them. You also need to have a track record for high spending, plus the most important thing is, their Senior Management need to know you. Fyi, there are actually lots of people with FDs over a few million, but not all of them are active user of CCs. In fact I have an uncle with over RM10M in FDs but his CL with the bank concern is only a puny RM100K This post has been edited by tgeoklin: Jan 16 2010, 08:49 PM
