im planning to cancel my hsbc normal mastercard and replaced with hsbc mpower visa card.

question is..is rm50 gst taxes i need to pay for my hsbc MC??

or to the new card???
*
No need to pay if the GST hasn't been charged to your HSBC MC.

However, you'll be charged GST for the newly applied Mpower Visa.

It's not a problem with the limit imposed on the merchant. It's a case of the merchant itself don't want to accept car payment via cc.

alright, just got some confirmation from friends in car industry. reason being merchant does not want to bear the bank charges. they do, however accept "booking fee".

I remember some forummer mention that he kena the GST even before the card was activated. So, better for you to make sure that you want to use that card first.

Which Amex Platinum you mean? For the credit card requirement only RM60k per annum. For the charge card requirement at RM190k per annum(By invitation only).
*
Amex Platinum charge card has long been open to the public.

Is this a limit imposed to merchant? I have signed for multiple of 50K's buying properties and it goes through just fine.

In Malaysia, some car dealers accept cc for booking fee only. They impose a surcharge if they allow you to pay more than the booking fee amount using cc. Meanwhile, most of the big developers in Malaysia accept cc for booking, and some of them even allow the balance of the first 10% be settled via cc.

But in their website its clearly stated by invitation only.

Although it might open for public to apply but the approval criteria must be very strict.

Automatic credit back?? Or you call up to waive or you use the awarded free points? If really can, then I am gonna ask for the credit too.

You can view online statement if you have enabled Internet banking. Otherwise, give a call to the CS.
