I seriously cannot stand RHB already. They're still sending me statements charging me "late payments" of something I never asked for at all!! OH MY GAWD!! CAN I SUE THEM NOW???
*
if you are sure it's not ur fault, make complain to RHB and bnmtelelink@bnm.gov.my

MBB CEO (in late 2009) declared prior to the implementation of the CC Tax (it is not called GST mind you) that they would not pay the tax on behalf of the customer to the government.

Did you repay fully before due date? Or you did cash advance before?

for those of you who remembered my case, I paid EXTRA when I cancelled my card last year. FOUR INNOCENT MONTHS later they charged me annual fees...that's why until now they keep charging late charges even though I called up to clear the annual fees. Every month the bill comes late and since February I have been calling up every month to get an explanation on why they keep charging me late charges. Its seriously ridiculous that after SIX LONG MONTHS I'm still trying to get rid of a bloody card.

Why don't I see Citibank giving me ANY trouble at all since I cancelled it around the same time as RHB card?? Bloody useless local banks mad.gif

I'm planning to make a complaint somehow....maybe even a police report before going to tribunal court if this continues on.

So, what is the CL they give u? Is this the highest requirement card? I think Enrich is by invitation only? How about amex platinum--the income requirement?

Minimum CL of World Mastercard should be at RM100k. Yes, Enrich WMC is by invitation only and the CL souhld be at RM200k minimum.
Which Amex Platinum you mean? For the credit card requirement only RM60k per annum. For the charge card requirement at RM190k per annum(By invitation only).
Highest requirement card in the market I think is the RHB Visa Infinite, annual income must be RM380k and CL start with minimum RM200k(By invitation only).

So far highest requirement is RHB Visa Infinite then. But the Enrich don't know what requirement. probably the same as RHB VI.

CL 100k can sign one car already. notworthy.gif

Yup. The merchant wont allow you to do so.

100k CL is a peanut for the rich tycoon.

CL with 300k-500k above consider the highest rank for majority of CC issuers.

To get HSBC Platinum CC is not that simple as other banks like CIMB DA.

Is this a limit imposed to merchant? I have signed for multiple of 50K's buying properties and it goes through just fine.

It's not a problem with the limit imposed on the merchant. It's a case of the merchant itself don't want to accept car payment via cc.

Yes. I guess you can say so but still, quite a big number of people have this card.

It is not possible to buy a car using credit card. This is not the United States of America. Buying a car in the States with an AMEX charge card is actually quite common.

If you cancel your current HSBC Mastercard before the anniversary month, then you won't have to pay for the RM50 tax.

If you apply for a new HSBC Amanah VISA now and it is approved, you will be charged RM50 in your first statement. For all newly approved cards, the credit card tax will be charged upfront.
