hey guys...just came back from my outstation trip. just 3 days not here got more than 11 pages to read. best part is when my car park outside the hotel...quite a few ppl came over to admire my car

here's my bright silver forte filing up at caltex. 2nd full tank of RON95 at RM82.00 for 45.55L.


manage to achieve 6.8L/100km on highway drive. lowest i can get.

just to report on the FC, for 70% highway/30% city drive i manage to achieve 13.33km/L for my 1st full tank of Shell. highway speed varies between 140km/h to 110km/h. keeping rpm between 2000rpm to 4000rpm as recommended.

just did my glow at Sierra Glow. highly recommended. whole process took nearly 5-1/2 hours. result enjoy the photos.


my forte under the spotlight before the polish. spotted a few minor scratches on the bonnet.


after the glow. can't really see difference from the photos...but the glow is quite obvious in real life and better than showroom condition. overall very happy with mr. choong's service.

i luv how the water glides across the body of my forte after the glow just a little blow and it just glides smoothly.

also i nearly kena 2nd price 4d on sunday with my forte number there goes RM30k

hehe...yalor if kena sure lah must sponsor nvm must buy another 3 days.

about the glow, warranty 5 years mah...so let's really hope it'll last that long. as explained by mr. choong, the glow is silica base (non organic), so it's essentially a glass coating, compared to teflon (PPS) which is petrol base (organic). non organic should last longer. maybe that's why PPS need to go back for chemical wash every 6 months.

hehe...yes the glow's on my forte. but sorry these few days quite busy hence the reason i'm asking u to courier the K logo to me. hope it's not so much trouble. not so sure how much mr. choong will charge to do minor touch up but i remember reading at peugeot forum some getting it done for free (about 2 hours work). that's why a lot of ppl highly recommend sierra glow. very good service.

if going up hill i just use manual shift and shift down a gear works wonders

hey guys...today i too had a proud moment driving a forte . while at traffic light a dude in a jazz stopped beside me and gave me a thumbs up. then he wound down his window and asked me about my car. haha.

also did any of you guys encounter the ESC off light going on by itself? it happened to me twice today while moving. pressed the button but no response. only after off and on engine then only ok.

also my brake pedal seems too sensitive. when parked with handbrake on sometimes the brake light is on even after engine is off. after stepping on the brake pedal a few times then only it will off.

really felt sorry for those who booked 2.0. i also just received the news today while servicing my forte from the service manager. he also said 2.0 delay until mid of 2010. i didn't believe him at 1st but after reading today's post

did my tint at tintmaster today. price RM750 with 87% heat reduction for side and back window, front 93% heat reduction. 7 years warranty.

bro phelix, it's very hard to take photo of the 3 dots on the King Loong emblem. u need to see it yourself. anyone got any problem with their KL emblem? my front one got 3 dots on the metallic part.

nope it's not some left over paint. it's like a small needle like point on the chrome part. so it's embedded. that's why i haven't change the logo yet cos it's quite obvious. yeah maybe i'll show it to u during the TT but still not confirmed yet.
