Hi Forte owners - would like to check with you about rear legroom in your new ride?

Reason I ask is that I test drove a Ford Focus and was disappointed by the rear legroom for a car in that class. My wife says even our City rear legroom is better than the FF. What's the Forte like? Care to share? tks

then how can you assure us - prelaunch buyer get the car 1st and not others that buy later? he said: "we have enough 2.0 to distribute to buyer, just wait till that time. "

i ask my SA, actually now got how many units? my SA said total of 200 units 2.0 and 400 units 1.6. not sure how truth is their story... just wait and see lo....

I dont care its CBU, CKD or CCB or CRY ! haha , everyday i saw u all so happy coolected ur cars, i feel so happy for it !!! congrats. But those who in the same ship as me (2.0) we still pray alot or dream everynite . But im sure no matter how or when. I think its worth waiting for some times ! Drove my 2.0 on the highway today.... engine noise is barely noticeable, wind noise is of moderate volume but on par with the Civic. The ThetaII is much more refined and relaxed (2.1-2.2k rpm at 100kmh) compared to the i30's aging Beta (2.5-2.6k rpm).

1998cc is considered 2000cc. same...

btw... i drove caldina GTFour last night.... 250hp...
comparing with my 126hp.. is really fast car~

For those booker for 2.0, dont jump the gun yet..been informed by one Naza guys, 2.0 only will be distributed in June..you all still have 5 months to dream..haha..not bad enough compared if you book for new ferrari..sorry..

any manual transmission offered for this Forte?

3) some SA in North area who visit to Gurun these few day, had spot the 2000cc unit there, but they not sure when will release... confirm got auto cruise, no moonroot, leather seat

if my memory serve me right, then 2000cc also come with shark fin antenna..

don't have! hahaha. and 1.6sx owner can install shark fin antenna and pretend driving 2.0...  
but will be smoke by real 2.0 if on the highway...     

3) Add on isulation to the aircon pipings - as per modification by our Singaporean neighbor seems like there's improvement of aircon efficiency

Bro, as for item 3, the insulation must be perfectly done to avoid any condensation in the insulation. If it is not nicely done and there is condensation between the pipe and insulation, then it might be bad for the pipe in the long term. I think if the aircon is cold enough for you, better dont do anything and let the Sg owners test for 1-2yrs and if nothing happens to the pipe, then we can do it.

Initially, I was thinking of DIY using the good quality insulation tape for aircon pipe to ensure that no gap whatsoever between the pipe and insulation, but ater looking at the pipe, its very difficult to do it with the limited space and came across this discussion among the Sg members http://www.ceratoforte.sg/general-discussi...ighlight=aircon ... so decided to drop this mod and wait and see. But, so far i am happy with the aircon and 24c cold enough for me

Then again. If i remember my chemistry correctly. When aluminium react with water it will corrode to form aluminium oxide. And it shouldn't deteriorate the piping any further, unlike iron. Where if they rust, they corrode till the core.
