Checked with SierraGlow about the scratch on my left front door.... hmmm.. no 'magic', a paint job is required to heal the 'wound'  cry.gif

Anyway, done my tinting @ Ecotint today. There was another car doing the same tint @ the same time, and guess what? it's a Black Forte.  biggrin.gif Still not yet register. But sorry to the black Forte, my white Forte seems NOT to be standing out against you when look side-by-side tongue.gif

While waiting for the job to get done, saw another 2 Forte - 1 black and 1 m. brown OTR nod.gif

The Ecotint Package that I get is the current Hybrid 4 Promotion, and I further upgraded the FWS & RWS to Ray Barrier. 8 years warranty with sandblasting done. Didn't get the 7" top on FWS cos they only have black and i dont like it.

My window is now charcoal-colour, very cool-matched to my white baby cool2.gif. Satisfied!  thumbup.gif

Guys,

There is a transparent sticker at the bottom of the rear passenger doors, near the tires. Did you remove them? I did not. Afraid the paint will be damaged.
*
QUOTE(julz76 @ Jan 9 2010, 01:10 PM)
DO NOT REMOVE!
That's the the stonechip protector!
I was told that Porsche 911s also have that sort of stonechip clear plastic sticker.

But if you don't like it then remove lor.
Its your car anyway...

just removed this afternoon..aiyo.. rclxub.gif

Yes I know just assembled parts all is same, but the problem is Japan or Korea assembled and Malaysia assembled you believe will come out same quality, sorry I don't trust it ... (Malaysia Boleh --- you wait larrrrr)

If the car is assembled by Toyota or Honda Malaysia I still can believe and accept it, but Naza ... hahaha them have very damn hell good history ...
For you who wanted choose and buy CKD? and who wanted buy CBU ...
You more believe Made In Korea or Made In Malaysia ...
*
NAZA assembled part is only door panel & tyre as far i know....so if u do tinted also they remove ur door panel right & install back the door panel right???correct me if i'm wrong...

ACTUALLY, u will get ur car faster if bought from a DEALER...WHY???BECOZ SOME(not all) dealer buy with CASH fom NAZA...they will get car faster than branch....SO THAT WHY MY NAME NOT EVEN IN THE LIST OF SYSTEM but can get car faster becoz they(DEALER) got ready stock..NAZA will allocate the car more to DEALER 1st after that only to its branch...

btw my odometer clock abot 22xxkm now i think...only manage got 8.6l/100km untill now...fuel only left 2&half bar i think but the distance till empty now is 215km more....is it reliable enough the info there coz from fuel tank until now (3/4 fuel use) already gt about 240km...m hmm.gif

Good news to all those who participated in wheel cap group buy ... I have managed to remove the wheel cap DIY without scratching the rim one bit and it took me 10 seconds to remove one biggrin.gif ... cost is RM4.99 on the suction hook (3 x hooks, but you need only one and can use them at home after removing the wheel caps  icon_rolleyes.gif ), which i bought from Parkson. It is really simple, just press and pull and its out ... anyway for benefit of all, i will come up with a proper DIY instruction once i get the wheel caps rclxms.gif

[attachmentid=1395717]

For those from Penang or prefer COD, you no need to buy the suction hook cos i can just "suck" all the caps out for you when i pass the caps to you if you dont mind  biggrin.gif
