Good news to all those who participated in wheel cap group buy ... I have managed to remove the wheel cap DIY without scratching the rim one bit and it took me 10 seconds to remove one biggrin.gif ... cost is RM4.99 on the suction hook (3 x hooks, but you need only one and can use them at home after removing the wheel caps  icon_rolleyes.gif ), which i bought from Parkson. It is really simple, just press and pull and its out ... anyway for benefit of all, i will come up with a proper DIY instruction once i get the wheel caps rclxms.gif

[attachmentid=1395717]

For those from Penang or prefer COD, you no need to buy the suction hook cos i can just "suck" all the caps out for you when i pass the caps to you if you dont mind  biggrin.gif

1K, 5K & 10K

if fully synthetic
1K, 10K & 20K
no need to go back at 5K. that one is for mineral.

i use full syn and my SC said is 1K --> 11K --> 21K biggrin.gif

@4te, so the naza logo is just a sticker? if u suck it out, whats inside the cap? try to capture a photo without the logo?

if its good as without the logo, might just take it out and leave it like that hehe biggrin.gif
*
The NAZA wording is actually a sticker pasted on a grey colour plastic wheel cap.

Attached Image

i dont think you want to just remove the cap and leave what inside the cap expose unless you really want to be very unique and outstanding tongue.gif ... as requested here is the photo without wheel cap:

Actually i tested a few methods ... my friend from SG told me that they use small metal ruler, but it will leave small scratches, i tested the method but failed. I tried to use the small screw driver (the one to fix glasses) but failed too. Last Saturday when doing the tinting my fren's dad actually owns a tire shop right beside the tinting shop, so i checked with the worker and he said must remove the whole tire and i asked him to show me how to remove from a demo rim and he just used his finger to poke from the inside, so i was thinking maybe can just suck it out with the suction hook, which is not expensive and some might already have it at home, and it works hehehe rclxm9.gif

Happy DIYing to all when you get your wheel caps biggrin.gif

wow... ur place is full of traffic jam is it?

i was caught in traffic jam over the past 2 days. 1/2 an hour each around PJ area, and saw avg FC shot up from 8.3 to 8.9. but since idling rpm is less than 700 (690 to be exact, thx to bro victor info), i guess it's really considered not bad already.
