PC-12 NSD owner reporting in. collect/unpack/set-up/demo within the same day. this thing was 'huge', really need to get use to seeing it just sitting there.

Initial calibration done and the difference was 'drastic' - using KungFu Panda bluray. agree with the previous post that it rattles my 'plaster ceiling' but its not that bad - coz i'm using Subdude.

Now need to further 'tweak' using SPL meter and check the best placement for this 'thing', also the 'burn-in' period. rclxms.gif

After placing the pb12nsd in a room measuring 11 x 11 x 12 feet high for 3 weeks only, the plaster ceiling is already cracked.

Any sifu can give sound advice on soundproofing and room acoustic treatment so that the neighbours wont feel the effects of the svs.

hi, i'm using PC-12 NSD and my room size is 11 x 9 x 9. so far there's no problem with my 'plaster ceiling'. of course for certain scene, i'll hear some 'vibration' on my ceiling but overall its ok. there're couple of things that i've done, as follow:-

1) place the sub on 'sub dude', this will reduce the bass boomy effect
2) set your sub to 75db
3) add some 'sound absorbtion' to your room.
4) setting according to the manual

hopes this helps - do ensure your main dial volume is set at 'reasonable' level.
