if the SB13/SB16 price is ok...I might let go my PC12+.... tongue.gif

Why everybody seems to let go ported subs & go for SB series?? I thought sealed sub does not produce much slam in movies compare to ported sub? Maybe you all start to listen to music or watch concerts more nowadays hmm.gif

Sooner or later, most of us here will own 2 subs and start discussing about them. This will become a common thing to do 7.2 set-up, hmmmm.........

Bro, have you got your hand on one of the SVS sub?? If not, it is the right time to jump ship now and ship over to Miri biggrin.gif

Sifu anfieldude has tested them and impressed with them. To me, no need to test, any series will give you the deep rumbling wave icon_rolleyes.gif

Haha, not yet, still undecided.  laugh.gif Im actually waiting for my friend to come my place to let me audit his monoblock amps with my speaker. He say, it may unleash the bass. Then i will decide whether to add sub first or change amp first, but sooner or later ill do both  tongue.gif

My PC-12Plus is at 10 o'clock & my avr set the sub to -3.0dB.

My seating position is around 16ft (living hall) so I guess it depends on your room space that generate how much bass wave. When I move into dedicated HT room in few weeks time, I am sure Audyssey will set to even lower as my room is small, only 11'x13' tongue.gif

Why always talk about PB, not PC especially in the media review cry.gif

Added on August 2, 2010, 10:37 am"The PB12-Plus sailed through torture test bass material where many other subs within or even exceeding its class are known to have failed"

I like this phrase by the reviewer...

YB, can share what is your screen size? What is the distance from your seating position?

If I were you, I will certainly remove the tv console and find some lower floorstander or slim speakers. With the console out, you will find ample space in front. I am planning to go for projector soon since more & more members have owned pj and looks like a must in today's movie watching experience. tongue.gif

htkaki, so this Onkyo avr TX-NR1008 proves to be a serious contender for 4310 or might even out-perform the denon??

What about comparing in terms of sound details and its surround field? Do more test & I am eager to find out...

There will be another member here getting his SVS sub tomorrow smile.gif A couple of SB12-NSDs heading to Langkawi and Kuching. Another one will find a new home in Putra Heights.

For new members, please join SVS Malaysia Club in FB.

On another note, the PB13-U DSP that I installed in a living hall produces quite good result considering the wide opening to 1st floor. Tactile even at a low -30dB.

The second unit installed on the same day in Puchong is in a mid-size room. At LP (roughly abt 10ft), the happy owner said that his legs' hairs are moving, the big leather sofa is shaking and he can feel the ULF. His expression is priceless smile.gif

For me "old" member using "old" bash amp can join SVS M'sia Club in FB? Sound serious using the M'sia word... tongue.gif

Htkaki, care to share who from Kuching getting the SVS. If not mistaken, this is the 3rd unit delivered here. Told you there will be even more if there is a demo or agent here. hmm.gif
