Boss, that's at insane vol (I guess). I had never crabk mine up to -10dB. At -14dB, it is 'yelling' for more space in my HT room. The build-up pressure is definitely insane.

Just ask anfiledude abt it when we tested the Kung Fu Panda's wushu finger hold scene and DH4.0's tunnel scene.

paradigm very to much expensive
i take PB13 Ultra two so be 2X 750W total = 1500Watts
*
That's misconception.

With 2 x 13-Ultra at the front, you are getting +6dB more output. Never get will you double loudness. Paradigm expensive not lah since budget got you at USD50K.

wrong u forget it maybe my budget RM50K OR RM70K not subwoofer price
i need buy AVreceiver and Front speakers and center and rear and 2 subwoofer that to much alot home theater system
*
rclxub.gif aiyaya, confused me made statement by above.

Last time, you open declare that music only listering you. So, us of all thought music and movie no that mentioned you. Now, you typed want av receiver, front spkrs, center and rear. That one is movie mah. Errrr. which is which lah? rclxub.gif unsure.gif

If tamil song only listering, then better hi-fi setup to go. Av not suitable for listering music. Just buy good a preamp+power amp
, cd transport, DAC and a good loudspeakers pair. Then, add Paradigm Sub25. RM50K enough sure. Big tight bass offers Paradigm Sub25 even PB13-Ultra able not acheive.

Even with port blocks, 13-Ultra still a ported sub design by. Ported sub shakes easy whole house but pace and tightness seales sub win. Ported = movie watching. Sealed = music listering

If open area like Penang Street, 13-Ultra cannot lah. Need must E.D. A7-900. Best ported sub can buy money and better perform than sealed sub in terms of output. Bery good for listering loud boomy boom boom music.

Prototype SB13-Plus. That's why you don't see the 'SVS' logo on the surface of the woofer.

Maybe 2Q of 2010.

Taukeh HT Kaki how low can the PB13 & PC13 can go?
I really have no idea how does a subwoofer below 20HZ sounds like.
I listen to REL once.
But I don't know whether REL is below 20HZ or not.
It seems like very soft...
Not punchy.
Does GSC cinema subwoofer also below 20hz?
*
Boss, aint pulling my legs again eh? tongue.gif

I thought you had auditioned the F113. Then, you should have experienced it since it goes below 20Hz. Your statement above confused me rclxub.gif

Which REL sub? Most of the REL subs are 'musical'. Its midrange models tend to roll off at pretty early stage and run out of steam at mid 20s. Here's a FR graph of REL T1,which might explain why you feel its very soft :

Here it goes again (I'd posted it before)

This is the PC13-U FR graph :

and PB13-U

No idea abt cinema.

Hard to explain, eh whistling.gif ? That's why I ask my cust to come and feel for themselves.

anfieldude, I hope the audition of PB13-Ultra is an unforgetful experience for you even the time spent is not much smile.gif .

I watched Underworld : Rise of the Lycans. The LFE is quite good even at -18dB but crappy story sweat.gif

Watched '12 Round'. So so storyline but with quite overly done LFE. Bassnut can enjoy more. When Miles blew up Fisher's home, I can feel the tremor and power of the explosion. Btw, this BD need not crank high vol. At -20dB, it is room shaking liao
