turn off audyssey the bass will kick in. true enuf with my marantz.

yup donno why when i use audyssey, flat or front the bass is so lame. no shaking impact from the sub. if i off or switch to preset then only i get those. not sure about denon but could give it a try n c.

if u properly set ur sub using audyssey so that the db fall between -3 to +3 db then u wouldn't have this problem. once ur sub got tuned properly then only proceed with final round of tuning for the rest of speakers. no need to touch the sub anymore.
