Is there any reason you would ever get a 2nd console? Like if you have a PS3 would you get an Xbox 360 and if you had a 360 would you get a PS3?

What are the benefits of one over the other especially in terms of games available - both seem to mostly have the same titles to me.

I currently have a 360 but have been thinking about a PS3.

#1 - I haven't gone on Xbox Live because I've tried configuring it but it does not work - it should be simple but apparently not. Also paying $300+ for wireless adaptor (which may or may not work) is waste of money. The Wii setup was plug & place sort of easy. The PS3 would be similar from what I've heard.

#2 - Blu-Ray

#3 - Some game titles that are PS3 exclusive only - but there's not a particular title i really want or can think about

#4 - PS3 games are easier to find here compared to only at 1 shop where we go for 360 games. Only original games required.

And that's about it. So what do you think would it be a waste of money to buy another console just for these reasons?

PS3 got builtin wifi and bluetooth, it helps u save a lot from buying wifi dongle for xbox 360. 1 Xbox Wifi dongle = 2 PS3 games

#2 - Blu-Ray
PS3 is the cheapest blueray player u can ever find at the moment, unlike PS2 which perform poorly on DVD player, this PS3 can play blueray on par, if not better than the standalone player.

GOW, Uncharted, Infamous, Killzone2, FF versus ...

correct, because PS3 has only got original games, retailers got no choice but to bring them in, due to this reason, PS3 games have higher resell value and u can even rent games in many places.

And that's about it. So what do you think would it be a waste of money to buy another console just for these reasons?
