if u are using i7 for downloading, then i see your electricity bill shall be more expensive.
about OC, you can easily google some guides, spent sometimes tweaking your PC and have fun. about stability, stress test on your own to satisfied level to make sure its satisfied. If u ask others to do, they might simply stress test a while and tell you its stable. all OC shall easily reversible with a bios reset. OC at your own risk, tweak it to the level where u felt the most efficient for power consumption yet good performance. I see no point if you buy a super high end rig, then without tweaking/DIY, everything sent to people do... might just buy Dell/Alienware high end PC. You will just missed the fun of DIY. QUOTE(hilmiangah @ Dec 18 2009, 07:52 PM) LOL QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 18 2009, 09:17 PM) Ok he contacted me. We will try work something out True also... but I think you also must learn yourself, so that once something went wrong you know how to fix it...Added on December 18, 2009, 9:21 pm Let's put this into another metaphor. I make money, and the farmer makes food. I pay the farmer for food, and he has money to buy whatever else he needs. So what you don't do yourself you pay for it, it's how the world works PS: i don't like smart aleck replies, so as i always say, an eye for an eye Sorry if i am not as leet and up to your OC standards, but i don't take kindly to noob bashing And if you had bothered reading my worklog, i've posted some info for noobies like me who want a cool powerful rig but don't know the techno mumbo jumbo Its not bragging you are noob etc, its just felt like you will miss the feeling or excitement of setting up yourself a super rig... really, if everything DIY, end of the days the satisfaction is there. I think if you pay for people to tweak to you, in the end there might be problem... so make sure you really found a good OC'er... I personally take OC and DIY PC thing as a hobby, I don't do it as a professional, so u might seek for "Professionals" help... The concept of you is correct... You paid if you got $$$... just like some people like car modding, but sent it to shop to done it instead of DIY, and i saw some of them install full kit their self. But at the mean time, you also need to know some basic knowledge of it just in case something spoiled, you can identify it and maybe can solves it or describe the problem when asking help. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Dec 19 2009, 07:39 PM) Ok thing is, my motherboard the Asus P6T Deluxe V2 does not have any water cooling block on it for the chipset and mosfet. Is it still safe to overclock Don't worry about the chipset or mosfet waterblock. u didn't need either because you said you only want 4Ghz rite? it's not about breaking a world record, isn't it? hahahahhaha kInOzAwA: I scared i break As long as you know everything and its function, so it's safe to use even in a long time period. Don't worry ler bro... |
