i have been using norton for a year, and i never format my pc or had bad virus attack... i got 1 friend who use kaspersky, his laptop condemned by a virus once... what shud i say... just be more awake, its not hard to scan ur pendrive manually, and indeed norton has the auto scan feature, which does not pops out like kaspersky...
