QUOTE(verdict @ Dec 27 2009, 03:35 PM) Wahhhh!!! good result antonio sir...awesome RAM timing and Speed! sis verdict and bro antonio, i found something is not right with mine PI calculation...I cant hit that speed with CL7 due to lousy ram! MICRON FTW! why my real@available memory +ve but both of u is -ve? care to share? nwy, if used 32-bit os, sure cant beat 64-bit rite? |

QUOTE(antonio @ Dec 27 2009, 04:09 PM) Dunno...Never thought of it though.... no bro, what i mean is if used 32bit cant read full 4GB rite?OS i think not so choosy...because SPI only use around 260,000k or 260MB amount of ram only.... Added on December 27, 2009, 4:13 pm at 3000mhz NB, prepare to pump 1.48v to 1.55v to stabilize the IMC... I use around 1.53v to allow Calculation to be complete... im think it will d effect calculation |

QUOTE(AMDAthlon @ Dec 27 2009, 05:13 PM) Okay..managed to cut around 40-50 secs. This time with Services Tweaks(turn off services & Apps). It turns out there is only 1 seconds(faster) diff if i end explorer.exe task. mine oso!I only overclocked my HT Link and NB Frequency, didnt touch Memory Settings. It turns out my Windows 7 is faster than my nLite Windows XP by 10 seconds(both with same tweaks applied).Strange though - - There are no SS taken though(for the XP) 18:47.477 | AMDAthlon | Win 7 X64 | Athlon II X3 425 | 267 x 13.5 | Gigabyte MA770T-UD3P |2 x 2GB KVR DDR3-1333 | DDR3-1424 7-7-7-15 http://www.mypicx.com/12272009/SPI_32M/ Will find more time to tweak later(school ~.~ Next post should be tweaking RAM or HTT..Need see 1st - -.It ate alot of time..need patience i just chnge my OS from 7 to xp, tod will get better result, but more worst ade r! even learn new skill oso cant beat last time i PI'ing in 7 w/o tweak btw sis verdict, why did u change from 4 to 1? can get better result ka? u know what i meant by that right? |

QUOTE(Sanko @ Jan 5 2010, 12:24 AM) kaiser_falco: hehe.... we got no prove as sup3rfly said. so the best way i can do is the include video to show the loops for champion. It's possible to go below 8:40 actually but timing and uncore should be on the higher side. yeah. i'm the one who let you test the 8GB kit. hehe.... sanko bro, what is "the theme" dat u mention above?owikh84: are you saying that your score is also not valid? hengmy: the most easy way to cheat in Low Clock Challenge is top push your oc higher than the allowed freq to run pi. then using setfsb or mobo's on-the-fly fsb tuner to lower down the clock after the pi run. after than only capture ss with cpu-z. that is why i include video validation for champions. it's quite easy to detect as we do play pi ourselves and judging for the clock setting and tweaks we would know is the score is possible. 1st of all if you are not using the theme that provide the best score, immediately i would know you did not tweak as hard as us and your score should be slower than us. so something should be fishy if your score beat our score in that way. |
