we were great in the 1st half n managed to get 1 goal...

2nd half, we could blame our luck 4 what happened, own goal n out of nowhere shoot made us trailing 1 goal down,

anyway all of that not frustrated enough, what frustrated me is that when we trying to chasing the game why on earth didnt we playing possession football, we kept giving the ball to cara n agger to loop ball forward doh.gif why the midfielder kept flicking the ball to the arsenal player n gave away possession when we desperately needed to find equalizer?..is that order came from rafa?...

0 shot on target in the 2nd half tell u all the story..

chamakh n hamsik, at least one of them should be targeted by rafa to improve the midfield zone, but yet again, by bringing 1 of those player could drain all of our budget.. sad.gif ...to make thing worse they probably not gonna start under rafa regardless how expensive they r.. blush.gif

for me marcherano red card a bit harsh but to be honest i seen something more soft than that given, so not much complain to the ref from me, it was the performance which cause the prob..

masch by look of it really in painful, he could be out more than month also if its serious..

good news behind this, we could see gerrard playing along side lucas n aquilani behind torres..

QUOTE(Duke Red @ Dec 21 2009, 02:21 PM)
I personally disagree with changing managers before the end of the season because they new one doesn't have enough time to settle in. Having said that it's been shown that an injection of a fresh approach to the game can have a positive impact on the side. What has sparked Portsmouth's mini revival? There are other examples from seasons before but I don't want to stray. I've always advocated that a manager should be given a fair amount of time to attain success, and I am especially critical when a manager gets to dictate the amount of time given.

You and I may not visibly see any other manager capable of spurring a revival but then again, you and I and the other posters here aren't the best informed. Aside from plagiarising magazines, onlines sites and possibly even books, where do we get our references from? It isn't as though we chart the career progression of each manager hoping to un-earth the next great manager. Right now only the big names are echoing in our heads.

To rebutt your first point though, I don't see why we can't make comparisons with the other sides who are almost similar with us in terms of points. I mean aren't we saying we have a low budget etc in comparison with the big clubs? Everything is relative. You can't only make comparisons when it suits your argument.

well, i donwan to do the math on how much we lost getting a new manager or how much we lost if we failed to get to 4th place at the end of season or how much we lost if we sack rafa now or later..the thing is, when i see the team perform week in week out its just hard to believe that it was liverpool the one who playing, its totally shame to watch n frustrating at times to see the team performs..if real madrid can set or set on how the team standard should play week in week out for the sake of their fans and standard why cant we do the same?, its seem that rafa being ignorance at times although he notice what goin on or wrong or even what's the problem r, he seems to be too cool for what we being through right now, either he just wait for gerrard to hit top gear or he just simply ran out of idea, this all clearly shows that its because lack of pressure from the fan or the board..if he coaching madrid now n perform like this kind of level, he's long time ago looking for a new job...i can goin on n on about liverpool problems n i bet we goin to be on the same page

getting a new manager its not easy especially with current financial problem n with the owner financial prob as well, im not surprise to see rafa in charge for a bit longer, but if its risk that should be consider, ill take it n sack rafa for the sake of the club prestige's n future, there's not many world class manager available right now but if u looking for a winner mentality, manager that can come in with different philosophy n idea that can turn our poor run of form to good winning way again, well there only 1 man for that n im talking about hiddink

Shebby with his famous quote " Steven Gerrard should play at right back." LOL

he even stated that ramsey has more better vision than gerrad doh.gif , no doubt that ramsey could be the next big thing for england but judging him only for one match and compare him to gerrard pedigree that is well proven is absolutely ridiculous..sometimes i just wonder how much he got paid for talk nonsense whistling.gif

feb is the type of player that links up well with his teammates, the more quality his team mates were the better for feb, he is there with xavi interms of class n potential either he can overtake xavi is still under question, but he did dribbling more these days than b4, good sign perhaps, i dunno..

gerrard on the other hands is a born leader, well, dont judge him this season because it wont tell u the whole story, i must say, its really hard to name 1 player that play similar football as gerrard do, he's not the most skillful player in the world but he dont need that to show his values, what he has that that other player wish to have is his presence, his presence alone on the pitch is enough to tell u liverpool is twice more better when he is on, when he is playing i can bet that u wont put your money that liverpool is beaten until the final weasel is blown..how many times has him bring liverpool out from deep mess single handed is something that he deserve to be appreciate..he will always b my captain marvelous 4 sure..
