Who hav experience DIY a fan controller ??
i know can use rheostat,but y sum ppl hav to custom a pcb board ?? rclxub.gif

some pcb is to provide better voltage control and better current distribution.
i think that pcb is got something to do with the pulse wave as in pwm control.

rheostat cant provide control for bigger powerful fan as the current is not enuf and will burn the rheostat

anyway... it is better to buy a ready made fan controller. save the hassle, cheaper and better.

read it carefully...

try go build a custom pcb. buy the ic, mosfet, capacitor, reostat and buid a decent fan controller...
will it be cheaper than ready/mass produce one?

anyway... u can try running noisy 120mm thru ur so call fan contoller(reostat) for long term see what will happen.

just feel weird y ppl dun use the rheostat but custom a circuit.
custom a circuit really take alot time n $$. summore those component really not cheap.

another question,
can i DIY the PSU 20 pin to 24 by solder the other 4pin from the psu ??
