in my opinion if you want buy silver in Malaysia you should buy silvers that are easily liquidated into cash.
So far the ready market to cash in on your silver is Public Gold. Although the spread is quite wide, but they are willing to buy your silver when you want to sell to their dealers. I am not sure whether they will buy any other form of silver asides from Public Silver bars. But the market for other form of silver is still very small, perhaps only consist of fellow investors in silver. For gold its different, cos you can convert any form of gold into cash at certain banks all over the country. |

Already replied ur PM but I can repeat it again for the sake of others here:
I bought a few silver bars from them. you need to call up the dealers, they have a list where you can use to locate which one is nearest to you. After that, you set a price with them. They will set an appointment with you and COD with you. You can also bank in to their account. Yup there is a certificate of authentication with the precious metal you bought. You can sell them back the bars also, they will buy from you. |

ok....I bought them bars at quite low a price and if I sell them off at today's price I will still get some tidy profits.
The agents are ok la....they like to talk nonsense with you like how much their real job sucks, how they bought shares b4 and how much they lose/earn, but if you are financially intelligent enough I am sure you can differentiate between the good and bad info. I never experience they ask me to be member. Yea, I admit the silver from Publicgold looks like a dull piece of metal without any decoration, but I am just concerned with their monetary preservation function |
