go for pamp - mysmartgold or 1stopgold.
mysmartgold is 10% spread but not sure for 1stopgold.

buy those with assay cert and known brand, i.e pamp

PG silver is 15% spread.

Yeah, you can only trust the certificate they give to you and the serial number on the bars. PLUS if you buy from 1stopgold, who is the official distributor for PAMP, and if they are willing to promise you they will buy back, you don't have to worry anymore.

But if you are buying from someone else, I don't know. good luck?

Spend some money to go for assayer approve.
If you do not wish to do so, buy bars that already has assayer approval, such as PAMP and Public Gold.

Joking element below (Do not treat it so so serious)

If you do not want those, you can do the measurement yourself. 
Take a tank of water, put the bar into it, measure the water displaced by the bar and weigh your bar.
Divide the weight over volume, this is the density of the bar.
Then take silver density of silver (10.501 per cm cube) minus the density you calculated then divide by the density of silver and then times 100% again.
TADA! 

Honestly, I think these bars like sunshine or morgan etc is to be kept as long term investment, they will not have limited edition, so they are like goods to be traded when price is high or low.

But I realized what these bars are for now. I used to think that the 1oz bar was created to be traded only, like cash, coins are really the money, but bars when the world goes into fiat money crisis. But I found some people selling "Home smelting furnace" where even you or I can buy it, bring home, put in the bars and mint our own coins or rounds or sovenier. That's why they are call minting bars. But for PAMP bars, they are more like coins.

In summary, I still like bars, as they are my long term dream to owning GOLD BARS like those in the movies, but just silver. So if I were you, I'll buy bars to keep, for long term, while coins is for immediate to short term trading.

just got my first Pamp Suisse silver bar yesterday... so so so gorgeous

mine also arrived already. 10 pcs.
gonna get it from my friend later.

not really sure. last time he said his stock for this batch is limited.
but he has a second shipment coming here. later i'll ask him and let u all know.

I have seen this machine in Malaysia, used by some test labs. Am quite sure SIRIM has one but their charges are very expensive (many people from various industries trying to get SIRIM cert mah). In Godslove previous post, he has this machine and considering starting up a business like this to provide service to fellow gold/silver investors.

it seems its been 2 weeks at this level. can i say this is the physical resistant of silver? at 38-39USD.

btw got rumours it will drop down to 36usd this week. just a mere speculation by a forumer in other group. hmmm
