QUOTE(SGKSY @ Sep 9 2011, 12:09 PM) i got my 30 pcs 1oz at RM320 per oz. I think it is not worth to buy at this moment. i think the price will settle down when the large distributor in US and Europe start selling their stock. I say so cos i never see large distributor in US and Europe selling their 1oz coin. I guess you guys can get at below RM200 if you are willing to wait. But all 1oz might have already been sold out. That means can only buy from secondary market, like ebay. 1oz dragon already got with u?? u one lucky fella!

QUOTE(sparekim1 @ Sep 23 2011, 05:17 PM) OMG, spot has dropped that much!! I just bought some bars 2 days ago. If it continues to drop, looks like I need to buy some more to average out my cost of purchase. Is the price going to go down some more? Seeking opinion from the Sifus here. if u find bars that are lower than ur initial price, u can buy it. average down ur cost.

QUOTE(eXTaTine @ Sep 26 2011, 11:11 AM) I know coins with no legal tender status are taxed at 15%, but does it apply to those with legal tender status too? I haven't imported any coins before, so I dont really know. But from what Ive heard, the customs won't care one. If they want to tax you, they can do that. Even for bars (PAMP Suisse) also have case where they impose tax. It depends on luck also la...

most of the sellers are shocked with the price drop and most of them cannot sustain the losses. that's why we heard server problem/overload, closed shops, unanswered calls and so on... if im one of those sellers i'll also do the same. its a normal nature in doing business, people doesnt want to make loss when they know silver has the potential to go up again really soon. but as buyers, this is the time where we should seek other avenues such as trying to find overseas suppliers who sells at a much lower price. organizing a group buy is also a feasible.

QUOTE(SGKSY @ Sep 27 2011, 12:44 PM) your price may be lower than the cost to bring the coin into Malaysia, haha. yeah, i know. but 1oz dragon at the price of 2oz dragon is the max i would pay. if higher, might as well forget it and get the 2oz instead.

QUOTE(kakiayam @ Sep 27 2011, 12:52 PM) you mean the lunar dragon year 2012 from australia? i have 5 pcs of em, 2oz each. But i wonder why 1oz is almost same price with 2oz 1oz silver only got 300,000 pieces in market. very high demand, but very limited mints. other coins are unlimited, but currently the Perth Mint are suspending their production due to overwhelming demand which they cant cope.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Sep 27 2011, 01:38 PM) oh thanks. I tot 8% is high spread. I check Maybank gold is only 4% spread. Anyway, thanks bro. By the way, if I wanna start invest in Silver, where should I go? I read front page but I'm quite confuse. I saw someone referring to dragon silver. Where to buy that? You are in the right place actually. If you can read from page 60 onwards, you should get a pretty much clear picture on silver investment in malaysia. Some of the forumers here also sells/trade their silver. SGSKY is selling his 2oz dragon, but is in 5 pieces pack. Dunno whether the offer is still valid or not.

QUOTE(eehtsitna @ Sep 28 2011, 10:58 AM) Guys, I have read through a number of pages in this thread and managed to get a hold of the idea of investing silver. I consider the present as a good time to enter this trade but is there any place/seller that provide silver at the current rate? Most of the seller mentioned in the 58/59 page is still using the pre-dipped price. Thanks in advance. have u tried GoldChan?

Seems that they are supporting, must be the physical dealers there supporting, I think they had enough of picking up the calls the last few days. no wonder the price suddenly moves sharply. hopefully the london traders will be supported by US traders later tonite. slowly rise back to usd40. im not asking too much.

QUOTE(chef @ Sep 29 2011, 10:16 AM) Hey who says so? I think many people are still looking to buy, maybe if you can list out what you have for sale here, including the price, I'm sure there will be respond. chef As for leasing back to you, how it works huh? We pass you the silver, you sell, then you pay us back? or we pass to you, you buy from us and sell when you want? yeah, i want to know about the lease back too.
