Now, I have none tongue.gif Only have 1gram of gold. Planning to diversify tongue.gif Every 5oz. of silver equals to 1g of gold. So when either one crashes, I always have a back up smile.gif

@GoldChan : Thought of getting coins smile.gif You don't have any?
@prophetjul : I prefer silver because it is relatively cheap now. I am going all out to get it below USD40/oz. The rise in silver is also faster than gold.

Anyone knows what is the exact weight of philharmonic coin? It says 1 troy ounce, but I checked online and all the coins vary on a 0.01 scale. Is there range? Just wanna make sure what I am buying is real

My parents don't really trust me cause I am still a student. So what would be the safest and most reliable way so I won't get con? Thanks in advance

According to the price graph, it should have. IMO, it's gonna stray at 39-40 for few days and whoosh up up away.

Read from the first page.
I'll say get silver bullion coin.
Silver has a higher potential of earning than gold.
ie, you need to come out with a lot more model to earn more in gold.
Get silver bar from public gold if you can.
Bars have less premium than coins.
For now one 250gram cost about 1.2K, 5:05PM.

True that. Will get silver bullion coins smile.gif

Kookaburra as well, but I don't enjoy it that well. =P
I've eagle and maple and pamp suisse.  tongue.gif
Pamp suisse is a big beauty!

Yeah, but very expensive laa. Prefer getting silver bullion coins which are legal tender. For me, the kook is more like a numismatic coin. So yeah. biggrin.gif Only that 3 I will consider getting biggrin.gif If you interested in numismatics, get the andean cat 2010. Only 2000 mintages smile.gif RM38.01/oz biggrin.gif AHAHAHA Price masuk longkang

Yeah, I think so too. That's why very scary with commodities biggrin.gif Damn damn volatile. That's why I only put 10-15% of my money into commodities and others into shares or something else. Only 17 years old. Not much of money to invest :S

Added on August 6, 2011, 1:48 amJust wondering, anyone here collects or sell ASE proofs? biggrin.gif Really nice man the ASE proof coins.

Hmmm, still considering whether to get all those really expensive.coins that comes with cert and a nice box that cost around 300 to 500 or get all those coins that have limited mintages such as the grizzly or andean cat. Hmmm, which would be better?

Hmmm, it depends whether you have interest in collectibles. For me, I like collectibles which has a mintage of lower than 10,000 and must.be 999 silver. With.this too me it has numismatic value.and also silver.value. If you wanna use just for investment and have no interest in collecting rare coins, then.just get normal silver bullion coins which are legal tenders such as the american silver eagle, maple leaf or philharmonic. Numismatic also has a sell.back price. For an example, 2009 maple snowflake double in price already. So yeah. To me, I like to collect it cause it is rare. To me it is like killing two.birds with one stone
