want to ask i just received my laptop back from service center(good customer service they have at toshiba I-serv)do i realy need to install all the update from windows update?

owh and my laptop is portege m900 it has ati gc,but i cant find the catalyst control center(if its what its called to customize colour display)

sent to rma the problem is the hardisk(bad sector)they change it,and yes reformat but i dont know wether to download and install the updates or not

found the CCC just by pressing start-all programs-catalyst control center-CCC

for the recovery disc how many disc we need?and theres a disc set which is 4.7gb and 8.5gb to be selected,
