Hey guys! Some site tells me that toshibas laptops are international warrantied but the site I would like to get from said toshiba limited warranty

So I was wondering if I should import the laptop since its much cheaper in US compared to Malaysia

If there's no international warranty are the repairs expensive? What I heard about toshibas laptop is that they are reliable and build to last..

So far I've been using dells laptops and desktop and thinking of changing biggrin.gif

Yeah, apparently certain laptops only come with regional warranty as stock nod.gif

Just wondering, how come you want international warranty?
Basically it depends on models, certain models come with 3 years international warranty as standard o.... otherwise you could also opt for local/ international warranty extension (at a price of course tongue.gif)

In general, Toshiba units are quite reliable and nicely built, however should any problems occur, fixing might take up to 2 months depending on severity of the issue. On the other hand, if covered, Dell's on-site warranty enables you to fix your laptop within 1-2 working days which is a huge plus- saves a lot of time

You should check with Teledynamics Msia. Give them a call.

However, im expecting them to say "NO WARRANTY FOR PARALLEL IMPORT", in this case you said you will have official receipt from the US purchase, and the warranty terms implied that you do get international warranty.

However, check your source in US if its official reseller in US for Toshiba

thank you yuyuyu!! biggrin.gif

Seriously I am still wondering why is it so expensive here in Malaysia, plus we do not have any taxes for IT products!!

Yup, Toshibas laptopĀ  are reliable and build to last..
If you know how to get/buy/import the US model laptop from US, than why not...since its much cheaper compared to Malaysia Toshiba model laptop.
Me tried to buy Toshiba laptop online from Amazon but was rejected.

For international warranty -> http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su...sp?nav=Warranty

Thank you!!!

Ahhh.. Im deciding to get it from this site

http://www.adorama.com/TOX775Q7384.html

I believe its not a grey import. They are reputable in the States for selling photography equipment and have expended to many electronic stuff too! But unfortunately they only ship within the United States.

Apparently their competitor ships internationally!

Shipping fee is 135 USD thou.. But Laptops are fragile
